Its my great honor to stand here and share my teaching ideas with you. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Hao Wen, and I am from Hanyuan No.1 Middle School. To

2、day my teaching design is for the second period in Section A of Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to, which is taken from Go for it, Book 5. The main content of this unit is “Music and movies”, and the topic is “movies” today. I have decided to say the lesson from six parts:1.analysis of the teac

3、hing material, 2.analysis of the students, 3.analysis of the learning objectives , 4.teaching key and difficult points,5. teaching and learning methods ,6. teaching procedures.Part 1 :The analysis of the teaching material The topic of this unit is music and film. Students are required to understand

4、the attributive clause guided by that, which, who. The key point of Section A is to let the students learn to use that, which, who to express their love of music and film. This lesson is the second lesson of Unit 9, the text provides an article on film preferences. The students are required to find

5、out the different film types and the name of the film mentioned in the article, students under the guidance of the teacher can pay attention to the details of the article; At the same time, students are asked to fill in the form according to the passage information.Attributive clause is a very impor

6、tant point of knowledge in junior high school textbooks. Learning this unit well is very helpful to the further study and plays a connecting role.Part 2:The analysis of the students(学情分析)First of all, the ninth grade students have accumulated rich vocabulary and mastered some reading strategies. So

7、they have the ability to complete some difficult reading tasks. Warming -upAt the beginning of the class, the students will have a guessing game. Here are two recordings from the te

12、achers they know. Then the students should guess what kind of music and musician they like after listening. Then talk about the their favorite music and musicians, and have a conversation in pairs.In this way, we can help the students to review the attributive clause that they learned before and it

13、can arouse students interest in the following studying. Step 2. Presentation1.Play a short video which has different kinds of movies and ask the students to name the types of movies. The video can attract students attention directly, and help to stimulate their interest in learning and the desire to

14、 talk freely. It can lead to the theme of this lesson - - talk about their preferences for various movies.2. Present the names of the movie types on the PPT, and teach the students to read the words. This will help students to better understand the types of movies, and thus can help to clear the wor

15、d barriers in the reading.3. In the third step, ask the students to talk about their favorite types of movies and use the attributive clause.Step3. While-readingBefore reading the passage, the students are asked to guess what the topic of the article is according to the title and the picture. In my

16、opinion,when teaching in a reading class , be sure to teach students some relevant reading skills in order to grasp the main content of the article.Step 4.
