2、ty objects: Students can use skimming strategy and scanning strategy to finish the reading tasks.3.Emotion objects: Students can keep their resolutions and make themselves better persons.Important points and difficult points :Help students master the knowledge objects; teach the students reading str

3、ategies by finishing the tasks according to the passage, and improve the students reading ability. Teaching Procedures:. Pre-Reading Step 1. Watch a video about the New Years resolutions to lead in. (设计目的:短视频既切合主题又幽默有趣,能快速导入主题,而且使学生感兴趣。) Step 2. Talk about the teachers New Years resolutions to intro

4、duce the new words and phrases.(设计目的:以老师的个人的新年决心来引入新单词和话题。)Step3. Play a game to review the new words and phrases, which can clean the obstacles of words before reading.(设计目的:通过游戏,让学生在玩中复习掌握重点单词和短语,扫清阅读障碍。). While-Reading Step 4. Task 1. Advise students to find the topic sentence of each paragraph t

5、o finish 2c. First, help them to get the main idea of Paragraph 1. Then, make the students finish Paragraph 2 and 3. In the end, ask the students to share how to find the answers. (设计目的:教学生通过找中心句的方法来找段落大意,降低阅读的难度,使学生克服对阅读的畏难情绪。) Step 5. Task 2. Read the passage again to finish 2b, put the sentences

6、in the correct places, and give them some advice to help them to read. (设计目的:教学生通过联系上下文和找关键词的方法来还原句子,突破了学生阅读题型的一个难点,使学生不再害怕阅读。) Step 6. Task 3. Understand the passage paragraph by paragraph, by listening, reading, and finishing the mind map. It could help the students get to know each paragraph clea

7、rly.(设计目的:学生仔细逐段阅读课文,通过填写思维导图、听、读等多种形式来理解每一段。)Step 7. Task 4 Whats your New Years Resolution? And ask the Ss to ask the question “ Is it necessary for us to make a resolution?” (设计目的:根据对文章的理解,让学生谈论话题。). Emotion Education Step 8. Quote the old saying, where there is a will, there is a way, and encour

Show the mind map of the passage and summarize the reading skills using in this class. (设计目的:出示全文的思维导图,并总结归纳阅读方法,使学生学有所得。). Homework Step 10. Rewrite the passage by filling in the blanks with the phrases in 2e.( 设计目的:通过改写文章来检查对阅读材料的理解程度,并且查看学生是否掌握了文章中的重点词汇。)
