3、ategies by finishing the tasks according to the passage, and improve the students reading ability. Teaching Procedures：. Pre-Reading Step 1. Watch a video about the New Years resolutions to lead in. (设计目的：短视频既切合主题又幽默有趣，能快速导入主题，而且使学生感兴趣。) Step 2. Talk about the teachers New Years resolutions to intro
4、duce the new words and phrases.（设计目的：以老师的个人的新年决心来引入新单词和话题。）Step3. Play a game to review the new words and phrases, which can clean the obstacles of words before reading.（设计目的：通过游戏，让学生在玩中复习掌握重点单词和短语，扫清阅读障碍。）. While-Reading Step 4. Task 1. Advise students to find the topic sentence of each paragraph t
