6、单数名词。 (3)both两者都,作主语时谓语动词用复数形式,作定语时修饰复数名词。 3.Im glad you can agree on something. agree on sth.意为“就某事取得一致意见”。 【辨析】agree with,agree to,agree on (1)agree with意为“同意,赞成”,常用来表示“同意某人,同意某人的看法或所说的话”。 (2)agree to意为“同意”,常用来表示“对 表示同意”,后面接表示计划、意见、决定等的名词作宾语。 (3)agree on意为“同意”,常用来表示“就 取得一致意见”,后面接名词。4.Now,do you tw

7、o want to keep silent forever? keep silent意为“保持安静”,keep意为“保持”,“keep+形容词”表示“保持某种状态”。 silent为形容词,意为“沉默的”,其副词形式为silently,意为“默默地,不说话地”;名词形式是silence,意为“沉默,寂静”。 【辨析】silent,calm,quiet (1)silent意为“沉默的,无言的”,主要用于修饰人,指不发出声音或不说话,强调无声的状态。(2)calm意为“镇静的,平静的”,指不受干扰时的宁静、平静,如海洋的“平静”;用于人时,指“沉着,镇定,安宁”。(3)quiet意为“安静的,静止

8、的”,指寂静的状态,没有吵闹,或指人的娴静、文静,也可指活动的停息。5.Do you really want to stop being friends? stop doing sth.意为“停止做某事”。【辨析】stop doing sth.,stop to do sth. (1)stop doing sth.意为“停止正在做的事情”,stop是及物动词,后面的doing sth.是宾语。 (2)stop to do sth.意为“停下正在做的事情去做另一件事”,stop是不及物动词,后面的动词不定式to do sth.表目的。6.Some of our teammates had to g
