1、Unit 8 Lesson 1 Adventure Holidays(Period One) Analysis of the teaching materials:本课是第八单元第一课,阅读课。本课通过阅读一篇喜马拉雅山旅游探险海报让学生了解雪山探险的一些可能的经历。同时,本课还要求学生掌握状态动词和动态动词以及形容词和副词的区别。由于本课内容较多,因此要用两课时完成。以下为第一课时,主要以完成阅读为主,提高学生阅读能力,同时通过阅读,鼓励同学们锻炼身体,以健康的体魄感受祖国大好山河。Teaching aims :1. To improve students reading ability.2

5、片激发学生学习的兴趣与参与活动的热情,创造轻松愉快的课堂氛围,并自然地引出话题:喜马拉雅山旅行。】Step 2 Listen and imagine1. Students listen to the first paragraph of the text and imagine they are on an adventure holiday in the Himalayas.3. Students read the first paragraph and make out where the text is from and the teacher explains what “Advent
6、ure 2000 ”is.【设计意图:同学们听课文的第一段录音,并想象正在喜马拉雅山探险旅行。通过阅读第一段,了解文章的写作目的:一个名叫“冒险2000”的旅行机构吸引游客去喜马拉雅山探险. 】Step 4 Fast-reading1.
