2、life forever 这是一个阅读教学板块,文章以音乐为主题,讲述了一个叫Sarah 的女孩因为一首乡村音乐改变了她的人生态度。阅读材料包含了丰富的词汇,再现了本单元的语法、功能项目,内容丰富,便于帮助学生巩固本单元所学知识。本单元 section A部分已经学过了现在完成时以及already和yet在现在完成时中的用法,本课时将进一步拓展话题,来谈论音乐及其对人的影响,来巩固加深学生的印象。根据课程标准,基础教育阶段英语教育课程的总体目标是培养学生综合运用语言的能力。综合运用语言的能力的形成建立在学生语言知识,语言技能,情感态度,学习策略和文化意识等素养 整体发展的基础上, 因此将本课时

3、的五维教学目标确定如下,包括知识目标,技能目标,学习策略,文化意识和情感态度(知识目标)经过本课时的学习,学生应该能够理解abroad , ever since,realize, fan,的基本含义,能够掌握million和fight over.,的基本用法.,进一步巩固现在完成时。 (技能目标)能够用正确的时态描述最近发生的事情,通过采访进一步提升运用目标语言进行交际的能力。 (学习策略)在skimming和scanning的阅读过程中让学生学会通过主关键词掌握文章主旨大意,提升快速阅读的能力。( 文化意识) 并且通过背景知识补充,让学生了解美国乡村音乐,开阔他们的视野。(情感态度)引导学生

4、在音乐中陶冶情操,在音乐中培养学习英语的兴趣。为了实现这些目标,首先学生应该能够把握文本。因为只有真正把握了文本,才能进行深入教学。 因此本堂课的重点就是帮助学生把握文章主旨大意,通过采访任务把所学知识和技能运用到口头交际上。虽然学生在 Section A部分已经学过了现在完成时,但是经常不是忘记助动词就是忘了动词的分词变化,所以这堂课的难点就是引导学生使用正确的时态描述最近发生的事情。新课程标准指出,教学中要促进人文和知识的统一,以及学生的心智发展。 因此本堂课我主要运用任务型教学法,让学生在做中学。所谓任务型教学法就是一种基于任务或以任务为基础的语言教学途径。 通过执行任务让学生learn

5、 to learn, learn to do, learn to together, learn to be. 另外贯穿游戏法。考虑到学生的年龄特征,心理特征和接受能力,我选用游戏来调动学生的积极性,使学生积极参与到课堂中来。八年级的学生初中英语学习已经进行了一半,有了一定的知识储备,对课堂教学指令也比较熟悉。在Section A部分已经学习过了现在完成时,所以有利于本堂课教学目标的实现。而且初中生都有求知欲强,积极进取特征,所以能够积极地参与到比赛中。 新课标指出,学生是学习的主体。 教学中要加强学法指导。让学生学会学习,关键是让 学生成为学习的主人。因此本堂课我将引导学生用合作学习法,通过

6、分组采访激发学生的合作意识。用自主学习法让学生根据自己的水平层次自主选择话题与作业。 下面是我设计的教学过程。主要包括课题导入,背景介绍,任务执行,汇报评价和作业布置。 首先由于该部分的阅读文本涉及到美国乡村音乐,对于中国初中学生而言可能并不熟悉,因此,在导入部分先对乡村音乐做一个简单介绍,有助于学生对新材料的正确理解。然后播放一首课文中的美国著名乡村音乐歌手Garth Brooks的MV,让学生在这首英文歌中体验英语的魅力,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,同时感受乡村音乐所传达的自由,生活气息 。接着引出相关背景知识的介绍。文章中涉及到Garth Brooks, 所以这里对Garth Brooks

7、做简单介绍并引出知识点million的讲解。为下一步阅读文章做好铺垫。阅读过程中先给学生分配今天的任务。为了更好地贯彻任务型教学法,让学生掌握这篇文章,重点创设一个采访的任务。采访这个任务对于八年级的学生来讲并不是很简单,所以为了让学生更好地融入情景完成这个任务,先让学生做两个课堂活动,一个是retelling the text ,通过skimming抓关键词,来获取信息,锻炼快速阅读的技巧,完成技能目标。另一个是listening and fill in the blanks ,通过以比赛的形式听原文听力材料填空,学习新单词,完成知识目标。这两个活动都是为了让学生把握文本进行采访。最后我们再

8、回归到采访。 为了达到交际目的,采访过程中,每个小组包括一个interviewer, 3个interviewee.。给学生提供真实情景的话题,让学生自主选择并在小组内进行采访。采访时我会给学生提供语言支架,让学生根据支架进行交际。 阅读过后interviewer负责展示采访的成果,让他们课下张贴在班级的英语专栏和同学分享。然后老师发放评价表格让学生进行自我评价的同时,老师也进行评价。 下课前给同学们布置作业,根据学生的层次水平不同设置了两个作业让学生自主选择其中一个,一个是写一篇文章描述自己喜欢乡村音乐的歌手,并和同学分享。这样用笔头输出和口头输出的方式来检查现在完成时的使用是否准确,并为下节

9、课的写作做好铺垫。另一个是学一首乡村英文歌,以此来培养学生用音乐学习英语的兴趣。最后 我的板书设计主要就是本节课的任务流程,让学生明白自己的任务。以上就是我的说课部分。 Well class begins! Good afternoon girls and boys! Nice to see you again! It can brings us back to the “good old days”when people were kind to each other and trusted each other. It reminds us that the best t

12、hing in life is free. This is a brief introduction of country music. I am sure you must be curiosity about what does country music sounds like, right ? So here i prepared an MV of country music for you. Just enjoy it. Ok everyone, do you love the song? Yes. And do you know the singer in this MV? The

13、 girl with glasses please. You dont know. All right. Here are some information about this singer. Look at the background. The singer s name is Garth Brooks. He is one of the most famous musicians in America history. He has sold more than 120 million records. Here pay attention to the word million. I

14、t means a one followed with 6 zeros. Or one thousand thousand. Now read after me , million. What s more, one of his song have changed a girl s life forever. So how did the song changed the girl s life. Now open your books lets come to the text and find it out . In order to have a good mastering, we

15、will do an interviewing . You know to interview is not easy. So first we have two activities. The first one is retelling the text and the second is listening and fill in the blanks. These two activities are both working for the interviewing. Now let s come to the first activity. In this part , I wil

16、l give you 5 minutes to read our text quickly and then use your all words to retell the text. While reading , try to catch the key words and the main sentences. Now go for it . 17、l she heared a country music song about home coming. Then she changed her attitude. She became a fan of country music. Now let s come to our main task. For this part, have one interviewer and three interviewees in each group as we divided be

22、fore. The interviewer ask interviewees some questions., you can use these sentence frame to communicate. and settle down your process in this diagram.
