It is exists in many different forms such as magazines, television, radio, newspapers, internet, cartoon, cinema films and even plays, and everyone prefers different forms. With the fast pace of the modernization and glob
3、alization, the mass media is increasingly influential to people. China, a large number of youth are fancy dressing in South Korean way, singing Lady Gagas pop songs, and watching Japanese animation . Besides, some youth couples are more likely to observe the Saint Valentines Day instead of the Qixi
4、Festival. This, of course ,results from the ongoing globalization.Signs of foreign cultures are here and there, but where is Chinese culture? Rarely seen. So what should Chinese media do? To preserve the Chinese culture or introduce pluralistic cultures ?Our answer Importing foreign cultures does bo
5、th harm and good to Chinese people. Preserving Chinese culture is a must since culture is the essence of a nation. Preserving Chinese culture and introducing foreign cultures are not contradictory. Chinese Media, as the powerful disseminator of culture for China, should: restrain negative cultures w
