They were a part of religion in ancient Greece .

3、 literature. Greek mythology is embodied explicitly in a large collection of narratives and implicitly in representational arts, such as vase-paintings and votive gifts. Greek mythology has exerted an extensive influence on the culture, the arts, and the literature of Western civilization and remain

Poets and artists from ancient times to the present have derived inspiration from Greek mythology and have discovered contemporary significance and relevance in these mythological themes. The Greeks believed that the gods chose Mount Olympus as their home. On

5、 Olympus, the gods formed a society that ranked them in terms of authority and powers. Hephaestus Blacksmith(铁匠) to the Gods; god of fire and the forges. Different from our myths, the gods and goddess in Greek mythology are more like humans . They not only look like humans but also have emotions and activities like us. They often make mistakes for their own profits and are troubled by love. These are just the beauty of Greek mythology .
