Because of the development of the world industrial economy, the fast increase of population, the unlimited increase of the human desire,and the unrestrained production and life style. our environment is becoming

Therefore, we should protect our earth which is the only one that provide the living environment for human.so we should advocate low-carbon.Low carbon technologies1、Wind power 1)Wind power supplies roughly the same amount of electricity, and new wind facilities are being built
4、at a rapid pace. Additional, the fuel cost for wind is zero. 2)Several studies have found that even when these manufacturing wind turbines(风力涡轮机) and building wind plants are included, wind energys CO2 emissions are still quite small.2、Solar power 1)The amount of solar energy that reaches the United
5、 States each year is equivalent to approximately 4,000 times the nations total electric power needs, but tapping that energy has been relatively expensive.2) Costs for solar photovoltaic (PV) cells are 5 to 10 times higher than those of other low-carbon technologies.3、Nuclear power 1)Nuclear powers
6、capability to add significantly to future low carbon power depends strongly on several factors, including new plant designs , national and regional politics, fuel availability, etc. There are still many Low carbon technologies such as water power,Tidal power and so on. 4. tidal powerHarnessing the t

8、e can do to reduce carbon emission. 1.Choosing the bicycles , bus, and subway instead of private car2.taking a bag with us instead of using the plastic3.Using energy-saving bulb4.using both sides of the paper 5.Recycling the old battery6.Turning off the power socket Timely7.Using water with moderati
9、on8.Separating the garbage,and so on.Moreover, we should try our best to call for people around us to take part in the low carbon lifestyle, informing them that living a low carbon life not only can reduce emissions, make our own contributions to our city, but also do good to ourselves, including keeping us healthy, set examples for our children when you have or for future generations, and so on.What is low-carbon life? low-carbon life means a kind of life style that people do their best to reduce energy consumption and carbon greenhouse gas emissions. is an attitude to life.专心-专注-专业
