1、六年级下册英语教学设计-Unit 2 Some stories are moreinteresting第三课时湘少版(三起)一、教学目标1 .通过学习故事Tom and Jerry学习单词和短语,完成对话;2 .学习使用was和were的过去式;3 .能够描述故事中的情节与事件;4 .培养学生的阅读能力,并提高他们的口语表达能力。二、教学内容本课教学内容为:Unit 2 Some stories are more interesting 第三课时, 涉及单词和短语:upstairs, suddenly, one day, was, were 等。三、教学方法本课采用多媒体课件、小组讨论、听说练
2、习等教学方法,结合学生实际生活和 情境,引导学生积极参与课堂活动,提高英语语言运用能力。四、教学过程A. Class Opening Greet the class and ask how they are feeling today. Start by reviewing the vocabulary learnt in the previous classes. Introduce the new vocabulary for the lesson.B. Presentation Show the story “Tom and Jerryv to the students using a
3、video. After watching the video, students are asked to describe the story and write some of the key events on the board. Encourage students to use the new vocabulary while discussing the story.C. Practice Divide the students into groups of 4-5. Provide each group with a picture of a scene from the s
4、tory. Instruct them to use the past tense to describe what happened in the picture. Encourage each student to participate in the conversation. Monitor the groups to provide feedback and guidance.D. Production Each group will present their picture and their description to the class, using the project

Closing the Lesson Review all of the new vocabulary and phrases learned during this lesson. Recap the story “Tom and Jerryv . Encourage students to share their favorite part of the story. Re
