He is taller than . and thinner than。Who is he?请学生猜猜说的是谁。在猜的过程中 还可提问：Is he taller/. than ？Step II Preview(1)指几名学生全班同学介绍自己家人的情况，再同 桌相互说一说。(2) Lets try教师放录音，学生看图选择正确答案，并从听觉上 进 步感知主要句型。录音内容如下

7、et,s talk部分对话，先让学生试读，再放 录音，学生跟读。跟读时提醒学生注意模仿语音和语调。 然后两人一组分角色朗读。(4)教师事先准备一些打乱顺序的单词卡片，让学生 读词后迅速拼成正确的句子。(5)学生用自己和同桌的资料，替换对话中的关键词 进行练习。Group work教师出示表格，并将学生分成四人一组，布置活动 任务：Survey your classmates and make a report.先请一组 基础较好的学生示范，再分组活动。活动过程中强调学 生一定要用英语进行交流。Step IV Consolidation and Extension做英语练习册上Part A部分相关练习，并抄写四会句子。(2) Task time要求学生回家后测量自己的房间、床及书桌或其它 物品的大小尺寸，并写出完整的句子，如“My room is 4 m long and 2 m wide.教师可先以教室内的物品为例，给学 生做个示范。Step V SummaryBlackboard DesignHomeworkRecord after teaching
