He is taller than . and thinner than。Who is he?请学生猜猜说的是谁。在猜的过程中 还可提问:Is he taller/. than ?Step II Preview(1)指几名学生全班同学介绍自己家人的情况,再同 桌相互说一说。(2) Lets try教师放录音,学生看图选择正确答案,并从听觉上 进 步感知主要句型。录音内容如下

How tall are you?待该生回答后,教师接着说:Oh, you9re . cm taller than me.然后板书这组对话并重点领读最后一个句 子。(2)师出示事先收集的名人图片,问:How tall/ heavy/old is .?也可让学生介绍自己所知道的名人。引 导学生进行比较,如is 4 cm taller than istwoyears old than .。在师生对话的过程中,注意重点复习年龄的询问和表 达方法。(3)出示L
7、et,s talk部分对话,先让学生试读,再放 录音,学生跟读。跟读时提醒学生注意模仿语音和语调。 然后两人一组分角色朗读。(4)教师事先准备一些打乱顺序的单词卡片,让学生 读词后迅速拼成正确的句子。(5)学生用自己和同桌的资料,替换对话中的关键词 进行练习。Group work教师出示表格,并将学生分成四人一组,布置活动 任务:Survey your classmates and make a report.先请一组 基础较好的学生示范,再分组活动。活动过程中强调学 生一定要用英语进行交流。Step IV Consolidation and Extension做英语练习册上Part A部分相关练习,并抄写四会句子。(2) Task time要求学生回家后测量自己的房间、床及书桌或其它 物品的大小尺寸,并写出完整的句子,如“My room is 4 m long and 2 m wide.教师可先以教室内的物品为例,给学 生做个示范。Step V SummaryBlackboard DesignHomeworkRecord after teaching
