Students will be able to understand and use the following key vocabulary words and phrases in context: invite, friend, sports event, ticket, arrive, cheer, support, teammate.2. Students will be able to listen to a conversation abou

2、t inviting a friend to a sports event and answer prehension questions based on the content.3. Students will be able to express their opinions and ideas about inviting friends to attend sports events.二、 Teaching Key Points and Difficulties:1) Teaching Key Points Vocabulary Students will learn new wor

3、ds related to sports events and social interactions. Listening prehension Students will understand the main ideas of the conversation and answer related prehension questions.2) Teaching Difficulties: Grammar Students may struggle with using the past tense correctly when describing past events or act

4、ions. Pronunciation Students may have difficulty pronouncing some of the more plex English sounds and words.三、 Teaching Process:1. Warmup (5 minutes) Begin the lesson by asking students if they have ever invited a friend to a sports event or a concert. Encourage them to share their experiences with

5、the class. Write the key vocabulary words on the board: invite, friend, sports event, ticket, arrive, cheer, support, teammate. Distribute a worksheet with the vocabulary words and ask students to match each word with its definition.2. Listening (10 minutes) Ask students listen to the convesation an

6、d finish the activity 2 and activity 3. After the listening exercise, ask students to summarize what the speakers are discussing and write down any new vocabulary words they hear. Go over the key vocabulary words with students and provide examples of how they can be used in sentences.3. Production (

7、15 minutes) Divide students into small groups and give each group a worksheet containing a conversation between two friends who are planning to attend a sports event together. One friend is inviting the other to e along and another friend is expressing their excitement about attending the event. Ask

8、 students to work in their groups to fill in the missing information in the conversation and plete the worksheet. They should pay attention to using the target vocabulary words correctly and in context. Once all groups have pleted their worksheets, ask each group to present their conversation to the

9、 class. Encourage other students to ask questions and provide feedback on their language use.4. Practice (10 minutes) Ask students to think about their own experiences with inviting friends to sports events and write down three reasons why they enjoy doing so. These reasons could include bonding wit

10、h friends, supporting their favorite team, or having fun together. Have students exchange their writing assignments with a partner and discuss their reasons for inviting friends to sports events. Encourage them to use as many target vocabulary words as possible in their conversations.5. Consolidatio

11、n (5 minutes) Review the key vocabulary words from today*s lesson and ask students to use them in sentences on the board. For example: I would like to invite my best friend to e watch the soccer game with us.” We need to buy tickets for our favorite bands concert/1 My brother always arrives early at

12、 the basketball game. I love cheering for my schoofs basketball team. Its important to support your teammates during a tough game. Shes my best friend and we always have so much fun together at these sports events. Ask students if there are any other ways they can use the target vocabulary words in their daily lives. Encourage them to think creatively and express themselves confidently in English.
