Such a topic is related to daily life, so its helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also help

2、ful to improve the spoken English. It also provides some new language points for the students to master. In this part ,all activities can give students listening,speaking, readingand writing practice. These activities can help students improve their integrating skills. The target language is the bas

3、ic for Ss to learn the other contents of this unit. So its very important to learn this lesson well.2. Analysis of the studentsThe students have learnt English for more than one year. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. For this lesson,the students have knownhow to use can to i

4、nvite sb,and how to accept the invitation or refuse politely,and learn to arrange time reasonably, this is what I teach in this lesson.3. Teaching Aims and DemandsThe teaching aims and demands are established according to Junior School English syllabusr provision and the teachingmaterial.(1) Knowled

Ill give the Ss some tasks and arrange six kinds of activities: watching CAI, writing some activities, listening, make conversations, listening practice and group activities.Teaching special featuresTo use these methods is helpful to develop the Ss though

Tell the students:Its the best time to go sightseeing/ swimmming.Then ask the students :Can you go with me ?Yes, rd like to./Sorry , I cant.I have toStep 2. PresentationBring out a calendar a

ListeningFirst, show the picture on the screen.Ask the students to listen to the tape and circle Yes or No.Second, listen again, ask the students to match the pi

15、ctures with the days.Third,check the answersAfter they do them correctly, give them some praise.This activity gives students listening practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.Step 4. PairworkAsk the students to look at the screen and work in pairs .Then ask some pairs to

16、 act them out to check the pronunciation.This activity provides guided oral practice vising the target language.Step 5. Reading practiceFirst,ask the students to listen to the tape,answer the question:When do they go to the movies?Second, ask the students to read the e-mail on SB Page29. And complet

17、e Sonias calendar on the left.Then play the tape for three times. For the first time the students only listen to understand the whole general meaning of the conversations. For the second time the Ss pay attention to the activity in each day and write them down. For the third time the Ss pay attentio

18、n to the time the activities and check them.After that,retell the e-mail in my own words,and ask the students torepeat the e-mail according to the calendar.This activity checks their pronunciation and train their reading ability.Retelling the text needs their good understanding and good memory as we

19、ll as good language ability. This activity is a challenge for the quick learners to improve themselves.Step 6. Writing practiceAfter retelling the e-mail,the students can master how to arrange time reasonably. To go further, Id like to train the students to write their own e-maiLFirst, finish Part 3

I design five tasks for the students to complete, and each task is harder than the former one. I try my best to make the lesson rich, effective, and instru

25、ctive. But as we know, not all the students are of the same level, a few of them may have difficulty in task 4- retelling the e-maiL However, every coin has two sides. If all the activities are designed for the average students, the quick learners will not improve their ability in such a class.
