2、ldren that they are going to read the 4th part of the story Jack and the beanstalk. Have them talk about what happened at the first 3 parts in the story.Read the storyHave the children open their books at page 46 and look at the pictures. Ask them to predict what is going to happen in this part of t

3、he story. Introduce the new words in the box if they mention the words.Now have the children read the text to find out if their prediction is correct. When they finishi, read the entire passage slowly with the children.Number the picturesHave the children look at the pictures again. Explain to the c

4、hildren that each of the six pictures illustrates a different sentence in the story. They must read the passage again and number the pictures in the order in which the matching sentences appear in the text.Point to the pictures in turn. Have the children either talk about the picture or find the sen

5、tence in the passage that matches the picture. Have the children read the story again and number the pictures.Check the correct answerExplain to the children that the unfinished sentenced all relate to the fourth part of the story. All the information they need to complete the sentences is in the te

6、xt.Point to each sentence and explain that only one of the possible endings is correct. The children must check the box next to the correct answer.Have the children complete the activity in pairs.Listen and write the words:Explain to the children that they are going to listen to what the chicken is

7、going to do then,talk about the story.Point to the hens speech bubble. Tell the children that as they listen to the story on the tape they must fill in the missing words. Explain that all the missing words are in the box of words beside the chicken.Play the tape straight through. Have the children l
