25、gers into its eye.The shark reacted by opening itsmouth,giving Mr.Nerhus a chance to escape.Despite his injuries,Eric managed to swim upto the surface of the water.His son pulled him onto his boat,and took him quickly to the shore.Meanwhile,another friend called the emergency services.Mr.Nerhus was flown to hospital byhelicopter.He had deep cuts all over his body and a broken nose,but he was very lucky to bealive.Attacks by great white sharks usually result in death because of their size and strength.The shark that attacked Mr.Nerhus was over three meters long.
