1、2023年初中英语语法精讲:常考副词用法归纳12very, much?与?very much一、副词very?主要修饰形容词或副词:it. ?as very angry at losing it.?丢失了 它他很生气。He has behaved very badly to you.?他待你很不好。He is not handsome, but is very pleasant looking. ?他并不英俊,但 招人喜爱。He believes very strongly in female emancipation. ?他强烈主张妇女 解放。【注】修饰副词?too(太),要用?much:I
2、t is much too expensive. ?这太贵了。90 miles an hour is much too fast. ?一 个钟头开 90?英里太快了。二、副词much?主要修饰动词,而且除非其前有very, too, so?等修饰语, 它只用于否定句和疑问句:She doesn t like him much. ?她不太喜欢他。Docs she much like him? / Docs she like him much?她很喜欢他吗?She likes him very much. ?她很喜欢他。【注】不带修饰语的much有时也可能在肯定句中修饰动词,但这只限于?regre
3、t, admire, prefer, appreciate?等少数动词,且此时的?much?应置 于句中,而不是句末:We much appreciate your invitation. ?我们非常感激你的邀请。三、much?除修饰动词外,还可修饰比较级和最高级以及介词短语等:He is much better today. ?他今天好多了。This is much the most difficult. ?这是最最困难的。Much to my surprise, he was a thief. ?使我大为吃惊的是,他是个贼。【注】very?有时也可修饰最高级?(注意在句中的位置):This
4、 is the very lowest price. ?这是最低最低的价格。四、修饰过去分词,通常用?much,不用?very。但修饰已经转化成形容词的过去分词,或形容词性较强的过去分词?(如过去分词作定语时),则可用?vejry:I was much surprised at the news. ?听到这个消息我非常吃惊。Her face wore a very surprised expression. ?她脸上露出很吃惊的表情。五、very much?是?much?的强调说法,从理论上说,可用?much?的地方, 原则上也可用very much。介词almost?与?nearly?的四条
5、区别L?两者都可用来修饰不定代词、形容词、副词、动词、介词短语等,此时两者常可换用。如:It s almost nearly impossible. ?那几乎是不可能的。He is almost nearly as tall as her.?他差不多与她一样高。He almost nearly always arrives late. ?他差不多总是迟到。He fell and almost nearly broke his leg. ?他跌了 一跤,险些跌断了 腿。Almost Nearly all the students passed the exam. ?差不多所有的学 生都通过了考试
6、。修饰动词时,通常应放在行为动词之前,特殊动词之后(见上例);修饰形 容词、副词、名词等时,通常应将其放在被修饰词语之前,否则会造成错误。 如:他几乎工作了一整天。正:He worked almost all day.误:He almost worked all day.我们当中几乎每一个人都读过这本书。正:Almost every one of us read the book.误:Every one of us almost read the book.2. ?almost?可用于?any?以及?no, none, nobody, nothing, never?等否定 词之前,但?near
7、ly?一般不这样用。如:Almost any man can do it. ?几乎任何人都会做。Almost no one came to the party. ?几乎没有人来参加晚会。I almost never see her. ?我几乎从未见过她。但是,两者都可用在否定动词之前。如He almost nearly didn t catch the bus. ?他差点没赶上公共汽车。3. ?nearly?前可用?very, pretty, not?等词修饰,但?almost?之前不能用 这些词。如:It s not nearly so difficult as you think.这远不像

9、t . any more 的语法 区别(1)?用作副词表示时间上的“不再”,可用no longer, notany longer,notany more:He knows that he is no longer young. ?他知道自己不再年轻。She could no longer go to school. ?她不再能上学了。This is no longer a distant dream. ?这已不再是遥远的梦。I can t wait any longer. ?我不能再等了。I am not concerned with that matter any longer. ?我不再和
10、这事有关。You won t ever see her any more. ?你不会再见至U她。I just can t stand this life any more. ?我简直受不 了这种生活。We won t have any more discussion about it. ?我们将不再作更多讨论 ToWe don t live here any more longer. / We no longer live here.? 我们不住在这里了。He once knew her, but they are no longer friends. ?他过去认识她, 但现在不再是朋友了。n
11、o longer?通常位于句中的实意动词之前,动词be、助动词和情态动词之 后,有时也可位于句末或句首(用于句首时,其后用倒装语序):He no longer loves her. / He loves her no longer. / No longer does he love her. ?他再也不爱她了。【注】原来no more?也可表示时间上的“不再”(但要与非延续性动词连用,且位于句末),但在现代英语中,no more? 一般不这样用。(2)?以下各例中的more?和longer?分别为much?和long的比较级,此时两者不可混淆:There is no more bread. ?
12、没有面包了。The boy doesn, t want any more. ?这孩子不想再要了。This rope is no longer than that one. ?这根绳子与那根绳子一样不长。the用作副词的三种情形以下用法的the有人认为是冠词,也有人认为是副词:一、用于最高级前Of all her friends, she likes Mary the best. ?在她所有的朋友中,她 最喜欢玛丽。That was the most interesting story she had ever told. ?这是她讲过 的最有趣的故事。She is the most suita
13、ble person imaginable. ?她是能想像出的最合适 的人选。二、用于比较级前表示某人或某物比以前更好或更坏,此时句中通常会有表示原因、理由或 条件的短语或从句。如:I feel the better for my walk. ?散 了一下步我觉得舒服多了。I love him all the more for his faults. ?正因为他这些缺点,所以我越发爱他。三、用于“the +比较级,the +比较级”表示“越越”。如:The more a man has, the more he wants. ?人越有越想要。The higher up we go, the colder it becomes. ?越往上走,天气就越冷。The better I knew him, the more I liked him. ?我越了 解他就越喜欢他。
