与?very much一、副词very? ?as very angry at losing it.? He has behaved very badly to you.? He is not handsome, but is very pleasant looking. ? He believes very strongly in female emancipation. ? 【注】修饰副词?too(太),要用?much:I

、t is much too expensive. ? 90 miles an hour is much too fast. ? 二、副词much?主要修饰动词,而且除非其前有very, too, so? She doesn t like him much. ? Docs she much like him? / Docs she like him much? She likes him very much. ?

、t, admire, prefer, appreciate? We much appreciate your invitation. ? 三、much? He is much better today. ? This is much the most difficult. ? Much to my surprise, he was a thief. ? 【注】very?

、 is the very lowest price. ? Her face wore a very surprised expression. ? 五、very much?是?much?

如:It s almost nearly impossible. ? He is almost nearly as tall as her.? He almost nearly always arrives late. ? He fell and almost nearly broke his leg. ? Almost Nearly all the students passed the exam. ?

He worked almost all day.误:He almost worked all day. Almost every one of us read the book.误:Every one of us almost read the book.2. ?almost?可用于?any?以及?no, none, nobody, nothing, never?

Almost any man can do it. ? Almost no one came to the party. ? I almost never see her. ? He almost nearly didn t catch the bus. ? 3. ?nearly?前可用?very, pretty, not? It s not nearly so difficult as you think.

The car is pretty nearly new. ? 注:not nearly?意为远非,very pretty nearly? I almost wish I d stayed at home. ? Our cat understands everything he s almost human. ? longer, not . any longer?与.more, no

、t . any more 的语法 区别(1)?用作副词表示时间上的“不再”,可用no longer, notany longer, notany more:He knows that he is no longer young. ? She could no longer go to school. ? This is no longer a distant dream. ? I can t wait any longer. ? I am not concerned with that matter any longer. ?

You won t ever see her any more. ? I just can t stand this life any more. ? We won t have any more discussion about it. ? ToWe don t live here any more longer. / We no longer live here.? He once knew her, but they are no longer friends. ? n

、o longer? / He loves her no longer. / No longer does he love her. ? 【注】原来no more? 分别为much? There is no more bread. ?

The boy doesn, t want any more. ? This rope is no longer than that one. ? Of all her friends, she likes Mary the best. ? That was the most interesting story she had ever told. ? She is the most suita

、ble person imaginable. ? I feel the better for my walk. ? I love him all the more for his faults. ? The more a man has, the more he wants. ? The higher up we go, the colder it becomes. ? The better I knew him, the more I liked him. ?
