8、t.Theyregoingtoaparty.情态动词 can的基本用法情态动词can有一定的词义,但不能独立存在,它必须与动词原形一起构成谓语。情态动词can没有人称和数的变化。其具体用法如下:1.表示“能、会”,指脑力或体力方面的“能力”。如:IcanspeakEnglish.我会讲英语。JimcanswimbutIcant.吉姆会游泳,但我不会。2.表示“可能”,常用于否定句或疑问句中,指某种可能性。例如:HanMeicantbeintheclassroom.韩梅不可能在教室里。Canhecomeheretoday,please?请问他今天能到这里来吗?3.表示“可以”,常用于口语中,指许
9、可或请求做某事。如:CanIhaveacupoftea,please?请问我可以喝一杯茶吗?Youcangoout.你可以出去了。haveto 的用法1.have(has)to+动词原形have(has)to后面要用动词原形。当主语为第三人称单数时用hasto,当句子是过去时用hadto。Wehavetoleavenow.我们不得不现在就离开。HehastoworkonSunday.他不得不在周日工作。IhadtodomyhomeworklastSunday.上周日我不得不做作业。2.haveto 的否定句句型:主语+dont/didnt/doesnt/wont+haveto+动词原形Youdonthavetowalksofast.你不必走那么快。Hewillnothavetobuyanewcoatnextyear.明年他没必要买新外衣了。3.haveto 的疑问句句型:Do/Does/Did/Will+主语+haveto+动词原形Didhehavetoaskthequestion?他非要问那个问题吗?Yes,hedid.是的。No,hedidnt(haveto).不。
