9、 hold a party on my birthday.我想在生日时举办一个宴会。2)would 用作助动词,构成过去将来时,意为“将;会;要”。e.g.He said he would be back in a few weeks.他说他几周后就回来。3)常见句型:would like 意为“想要”,表示委婉地提出请求、建议或者陈述个人的想法。e.g.Tom would like to go home.汤姆想回家。“Would you please+动词原形+.?”表示客气的请求,意为“请你,好吗?”。e.g.Would you please lend me a pen?请你借给我一支钢笔

10、,好吗?“Would you mind+doing+.?”用于询问或请求他人的许可。e.g.Would you mind turning down the radio?请把收音机音量调小点,好吗?3.You could go by boat or by train,although it would take so long that youd need to come back immediately.你可以乘船或坐火车,但那样会花很长时间,所以你会需要立即回来。“so.that.”意为“如此以致”,此句型可以与too.to.句型或.enough to.句型进行转换。so.that.too.

11、to.当that 引导的从句为否定式,且从句主语与主句主语相同时,so.that.可转换为too.to.结构;若that 从句主语与主句的主语不相同时,so.that.可转换为too.for sb.to.结构。e.g.The boy is so young that he cant go to school.=The boy is too young to go to school.这个小男孩太小了,还不能上学。The box is so heavy that he cant carry it.=The box is too heavy for him to carry.箱子太重了,他搬不动。

12、so.that.enough to 当that 引导的从句为肯定式,从句主语与主句主语相同时,so.that.可转换为.enough to 结构;若从句主语与主句的主语不相同时,so.that.可转换为.enough for sb.to.结构。Jim is so old that he can go to school.=Jim is old enough to go to school.吉姆年龄够大了,可以上学了。The question is so easy that Tom can answer it.=The question is easy enough for Tom to ans
