Modern skyscra
2、pers,。convenient com muni cati ons and fast tran sportati ons make it easier and cozier for people to live in this pla net. However, people are begi nning to realize that the great achieveme nts today seem to be at the cost of the irreversible deterioration of the environment and are appealing to go
3、vernments for more budget allocation on environmental protection. As for me, I am a big fan of environmental protect ion and I am wholeheartedly in agreeme nt with this claim. Here are some reas ons and examples to illustrate my view. Firstly, the environmental protection is closely bound up with th
4、e health of every single person in this world. Pollution can affect every basic element we need for daily life. Moreover, it is not un com mon that many people in our pla net have already suffered from the polluted affects. Several days ago I had read a report that 80% citizens in a small town in Ja
5、pan got cancers just because they drank the water discharged from a chemical industry which located in the upstream. Those who suffered from cancers are not only adults but also children and juveniles whose life had just begu n. Secondly, highly economic development without the protection of environ
6、ment is not sustained and stable. It is arbitrary and unilateral for us to sacrifice our valuable environment to get some economic payback. For instanee, if a village encourages industries to set up there while regardless of the potential pollution they may bring about just in order to improve its e
7、conomy, its economy will improve in a short run but then, after the heavy pollution turn the village to a rubbish dump where is no Ion ger fit for people to live, the in dustries will also find ano ther place to re-settle. Admittedly, there are some reasons for the government to give priority to the
8、 economic development rather than environmental issues. Economic development brings about more convenient life more job opport un ities and ben efits social welfare. High econo mic developme nt is also the prerequisite for en vir onmen tal protecti on for that we n eed eno ugh money to man age en vi
9、r onmen tal projects. However, once we cause the irreversible bad en vir onmen tal con seque nee, we are un able to make improveme nts any more. As a result, our economy will also go dow n gradually. To put it into nutshell, governments should put its budgets on environmental protect ion tha n on ec
10、ono mic developme nt. In the process of achiev ing more prosperous economy, people should sometimes stop to think about whether the world we live is still capable of providing fresh air, clean water and healthy food, which are fun dame ntally vital to the fate of huma n beings in the long run. 花过多时间

13、nd examples to illustrate my point of view. Firstly, too much time on sports is detrimental to family harmony. Secondly, physical health would be negatively affected by excessive attention to sports game or team. Admittedly, watchi ng sports game can bring some ben efits to people such as From what
