1、Unit 6 Lesson 34 Modern Olympics 教案一、教材分析本单元主要是围绕奥运会和世界纪录来展开话题，通过本单元的学习，使 学生了解有关奥运会的发展历史和世界纪录的相关情况，乐于接触并了解异国 文化。在学习过程中，应该让学生能够对自己感兴趣的人物或事件，勇敢地用 英语表达自己的看法，感受奥运健儿和世界纪录的创造者那种努力拼搏、不断 超越自己的精神。Lesson 34主要是介绍现代奥运会的相关知识，让学生了解各国举办奥运会. 的基本信息，并敢于用英语来表述信息。1教学重点：了解现代奥运的相关知识2教学难点：如何根据图片和相关信息描述各国奥运会二、教学目标：1.语言知识：掌
2、握词汇：America, peace接触词汇 ：continent , torch, slogan, reflect, mascot, feature, fairl y短语：stand for2语言技能：通过本课的学习培养学生综合运用语言的能力，有效提高.学生听 说及阅读能力。3情感态度：让学生通过本课的学习，了解世界各国举办奥运会的相 关知识，.拓展知识面，培养学生乐于接受异国文化的意识以及爱国情怀。4学习策略：通过听力练习、小组活动来完成听说及阅读的训练。三、教学准备教师准备：多媒体课件、卡片四、教学步骤Step 1 Leading inSing the Olympic song for
