4、d his daughter for years. Tomorrow he will be watching her anxiously as she swims the long distance to England. Erna intends to take short rests every two hours. She will have something to drink but she will not eat any solid food. Most of Ernas school friends will be waiting for her on the English
5、coast. Among them will be Ernas mother, who swam the Channel herself when she was a girl.Lesson37 The Olympic Games 奥林匹克运动会The Olympic Games will be held in our country in four years time. As a great many people will be visiting the country, the government will be building new hotels, an immense sta

Workers will have completed the new roads by the end of this year. By the end of next year, they will h
7、ave finished work on the new stadium. The fine modern buildings have been designed by Kurt Gunter. Everybody will be watching anxiously as the new buildings go up. 26、 time, we noticed a snake-charmer with two large baskets at the other side of the square, so we went to have a look at him. As soon as he saw us, he picked up a long pipe which was covered with coins and opened one of the baskets. When he began to play a tune, we had our first glimpse of the snake.
27、It rose out of the basket and began to follow the movements of the pipe. We were very much surprised when the snake charmer suddenly began to play jazz tunes and modern pop songs. The snake, however, continued to dance slowly. It obviously could not tell the difference between Indian music and jazz!
28、Lesson43 Over the South Pole 飞越南极In 1929, three years after his flight over the North Pole, the American explorer, R. E. Byrd, successfully flew over the South Pole for the first time. Though, at first, Byrd and his men were able to take a great many photographs of the mountains that lay below, they
29、 soon ran into serious trouble. At one point, it seemed certain that their plane would crash. It could only get over the mountains if it rose to 10,000 feet. Byrd at once ordered his men to throw out two heavy food sacks. The plane was then able to rise and it cleared the mountains by 400 feet. Byrd
30、 now knew that he would be able to reach the South Pole which was 300 miles away, for there were no more mountains in sight. The aircraft was able to fly over the endless white plains without difficulty. Lesson44 Through the forest 穿过森林Mrs Anne Sterling did not think of the risk she was taking when
31、she ran through a forest after two men. They had rushed up to her while she was having a picnic at the edge of a forest with her children and tried to steal her handbag. In the struggle, the strap broke and, with the bag in their possession, both men started running through the trees. Mrs Sterling g
32、ot so angry that she ran after them. She was soon out of breath, but she continued to run. When she caught up with them, she saw that they had sat down and were going through the contents of the bag, so she ran straight at them. The men got such a fright that they dropped the bag and ran away. The s

39、15)新县龙潭冲旅游区的其他相关基础资料1.3可行性报告研究范围本报告主要内容是对河南省新县龙潭冲旅游区建设项目进行可行性研究。就建设项目的资源优势、建设背景、建设必要性、环境容量和规模预测、建设内容、劳动定员、实施进度、投资估算、资金筹措和经济效益等方面进行合理性分析,为上级决策部门和承办单位提供可靠决策依据。 1.4项目建设的必要性河南省新县以“让将军之光永远辉煌新县”和“河南省文化改革发展试验区”为主题,依托红、绿色旅游资源优势,采取行之有效的措施,实现文化旅游的有机结合,弘扬“将军之光”,通过发展红绿色旅游,让深藏在大别山脚下的“将军县”一下子热闹了起来。2008年,全县接待游客113
40、万人次,收入2.94亿元,占全县GDP的6.2%,今年前5个月,接待游客43万人次,收入8385万元,同比增长18%。自新县被确定为“河南省文化改革试验区”后,就在全县范围内组织开展了“让将军之光永远辉煌新县”大讨论,举办了县委中心组“让将军之光永远辉煌新县”集中研讨活动,树立了发展理念。在此背景下提出了新县龙潭冲旅游区的开发建设,具有以下重要的意义: 1、有利于推进新县文化改革试验区建设,满足广大群众日益增长的精神文化需求的必然要求; 2、有利于促进新县旅游开发的红绿结合;3、有利于带动革命老区经济社会协调发展;4、有利于培育旅游业新的增长点。因此,龙潭冲旅游区的开发建设,为新县旅游新增一个
41、重要的亮点,同时提高了景点质量,提升了旅游区的文化品位,挖掘了旅游区文化内涵,从而弘扬民族文化、保护生态平衡、发展特色经济,推动社会、经济、文化的协调发展有着重大意义。1.5环境容量与规模预测(1)环境容量采用面积估算法和线路估算法进行测算,经综合分析后,龙潭冲旅游区日环境容量为0.32万人,年环境容量为83.2万人。(2)旅游规模根据客源条件、客源市场类型分析,参考项目所在区域近年的游客人数,对龙潭冲旅游区的环境容量进行科学合理预测,取12年客流量的平均值,设定为本项目的旅游规模,年均接待游客27.46万人。1.6项目建设指导思想以龙潭冲和香炉寨为载体,以淮南文化为灵魂,把淮南文化和自然生态
42、有机地融为一体,达到天人合一。把龙潭冲景区打造成集观光、度假、游乐、探险等为一体的国际知名的生态旅游文化主题景区,成为国家AAAA旅游景区。 1.7建设内容河南省新县龙潭冲旅游区建设项目主要有:(1)旅游基础设施建设项目:道路交通工程,给排水工程,供电工程,通信信息工程;(2)旅游配套项目:景区大门、旅游主题活动项目、停车场及引导标志、旅游服务保障体系;(3)生态系统保护与环境治理项目:环卫设施、环境治理与保护工程。1.8投资估算与融资方案本项目规模总投资4186万元,其中建设投资3894万元,建设期利息233万元,铺底流动资金59万元。融资方案:项目拟采取申请银行贷款1763万元(含建设期利
