2、nager who will report directly to the senior manager of asian new product development. this is a high profile and visible role within the npd and go-to-market organization that requires a non-compromising commitment towards the successful achievement of targeted objectives. the role will be involved
3、 in all aspects of the new product development process, starting with ideation and the development of key product segment inputs (technology platforms, competitive information, etc) through to and including commercialization. essential duties and responsibilities the key objectives are defined below
4、. the design and execution of new product development projects within the npd organization. insuring the effective / disciplined use of the npd process and related sub-processes by all project team and functional support members. supporting product managers in the development of business charters an
5、d other key documentation. managing multi-disciplined project teams in the achievement of selected strategic and tactical objectives. developing and managing project metrics that monitor project performance against established objectives. developing and managing project budgets within agreed upon ta
6、rgets. developing and managing project resource plans through clarity and the resource management process. achieving targeted cost, schedule and product performance objectives. providing leadership for multi-disciplined and geographically separated project teams. the effective communication of proje
7、ct activities to all key npd process and business stakeholders. participating in npd process tollgate meetings, as defined by project and process requirements. analyzing and recommending improvements in the npd process and supporting sub-processes. coaching selected resources in the effective use of
8、 project management tools and techniques. key internal customers and suppliers: - this position will have frequent interaction with very senior members of the global operations including the corporate strategic project manager, the vp worldwide r&d, general npd manager and managing director asia pac
9、ific, etc. - it is important that candidates for this position be comfortable interacting with executives as well as shop employees who are involved in the production operations. - the new product development project manager also will serves as a member of the worldwide r&d organization and will col
10、laborate with other project, technical and functional leaders ensuring the effective utilization of resources and achievement of all project objectives. key external customers and suppliers: - third party sourced product and technology vendors - raw material suppliers - commercial architects, design
11、ers, and contractors - selected regulatory agencies that impact product performance, composition, etc. requirements /qualifications - bs degree in engineering, chemistry, or other related field of study. - 10+ years business experience. - superior organizational and project management skills with a
12、minimum of 2 years in lead project management role(s). - excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with good english - strong reasoning and logic skills. - proven ability to motivate and drive results in positions without direct management control. - previous experience with p
