3、four Americans was unemployed.In 1932 Franklin D.Roosevelt elected president.Acts New Deal to some extent,it helped the country get out of the depression.In the early days of the World War II The U.S.government adopted a sit-on-the-fence(中立)policy.In 1940 the American policy underwent great chances.
4、In Europe:The British had been driven out of theContinent and suffered repeated air raids by the German air force.In Sep.1940:Japan joined the Rome-Balin Axis and conpleted the formation of the fascist(法西斯主义者)military bloc(集团).In Asia:Japan had openly announced its new order in an attempt to extend
5、its control to the Pacific.In June 1944:American and British forces landed on the beaches of Normandy.In August:Paris was liberated(解放).In May 1945:Germany surrendered(投降).Three mouth later:Russia declared war against Japan.On august 14:Japan surrendered and World War II ended.In August 1945:at the
