6、。这个词组奠定了本课用一般过去时的基础。扩展:this week 这周,next week 下周。last year 去年,last night 昨晚2 went是 g o 的过去式。go to.去什么地方。举例:go to the cinema,go to the library,go to the nearest post office,go to the schoolgo to school,go to church,go to hospital,go to bed(与 力(1 the 的短语相比较)go home,go there(副词前不能加介词)3、had是 have的过去式。ha
7、ve a seat本意是“有一个位置”,引 申 义 是 坐 下”,同 take a seat,sit down4、was是 is/am的过去式。very副词,修饰形容词interesting,放在该形容词的前面。5 I did not enjoy i t.这句话之前可以加上连词B u t,表示与前一句话在意义上有转折。=1 could not enjoy it.这里的 enjoy 表示欣赏、享受。it 代指 the play。6、A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me.They were talking loudly.这里用了过
8、去进行时,表示在我看戏的那段时间里,这两个人坐在我身后大声讲话。过去进行时的构成:b e的过去式was/were+现在分词doing。因为这里是两个人,所以用were。注意sit的现在分词是sitting,要双写t。loudly副词,修饰动词ta lk,放在动词的后面。这句话之前可以加上连词Because,表示与前一句话在意义上有因果关系。7、got是 get的过去式。get angry变得生气。get在这里的系动词,后面直接加形容词。比较:Iwas angry.我 生 气(强调一种状态)。I got angry.我变得生气(强调状态的变化)。8 I could not hear the ac
9、tors.这句话之前可以加上连词Because,表示是前一句话的原因。could 是 can 的过去式。情态动词的否定式:can not=cant,could not=couldntactor演员,尤指男演员。女演员是actress。之前的the要注意发音。hear听见,及物动词,强调结果,hear sb./sth.listen听,不及物动词,强调动作,listen to sb./sth.9、turn round=turn around 转身。扩展:turn on/off,turn to the left/right10 I looked at the man and the woman an
10、grily.这里的 angrily 是副词,修饰 look at 这个动作。se e 看见,及物动词,强调结果,see sb./sth.look看,不及物动词,强调动作,look at sb./sth.11、They did not pay any attention.这句话之前可以加上连词Bui。这是个省略句,省略了 tome。pay attention to sb./sth.注意到某人或某事。pay 付出、支 付,pay some moneypay much attention,pay no attention=not pay any attention例句:May I have your
11、 attention,please?12 in the end=at last到最后。in the end o f.在的末尾,可以指时间也可以指空间。13 I could not bear it!我实在受不了了!这是一句非常有用的习惯用语。bear=stand忍受、容忍。it代指这整件事。14、again 再一次,又一次。例句:Fm sorry.Can you say it again?I cant follow you.15、a word 一个字,有时也作一句话讲,例如:In a word,总而言之16 It5s none of your business!这不关你的事!别管闲事!这是一句非
12、常有用的习惯用语。none=nothing/nobody/no one 没有、毫不、一点儿也不。17、The young man said rudely.这里的rudely是副词,修饰say这个动作。said是 say的过去式。18、private私人的,反义词是public公开的举例:private letter私人信件-public letter公开信private school 私立学校-public school 公立学校19、conversation 一般用于正式文体中,但谈话的内容往往不很正式。talk 可以正式也可以不正式,可以很私人。dialogue对话,也指两国之间的会谈。c
13、h at闲聊,侃大山,非常随意。以上四个词都可以套用have a.这个短语。四、总结与练习1、文化背景:我们在社会生活中常常要跟人打交道,所以要注意自己的品行,好的品行叫做good m anner,坏的品行叫做bad mannero只有你自身的品行好,别人才会尊重你。在国外呢,尊重别人的隐私是非常重要的,比如说问女士的年龄或者问别人的薪水多少都是不礼貌的。隐私用英语说就是privacy,隐私权就是privacy rights。这则小故事中,那位年轻人对作者生气粗鲁地说“这不关你的事!”是因为他还以为作者是在偷听他们谈话呢。偷听用英语说就是eavesdrop,所以,He thought the
14、writer was eavesdroppingo 其实是这两个人误会了对方,这就是本文的幽默点。2、简单陈述句的概念:简单句:只有一个主语和一个谓语,每个成分都是单词或短语。陈述句:陈述一个事实,句末用句号,分为肯定句和否定句。简单陈述句:陈述一个事实的简单句。例句:我喜欢你。I like you.宝宝睡了。The baby slept.麦兜是我的好朋友。Macdull is my good friend.爸爸送给我一辆自行车。Father gave me a bike.他让我笑了。He made me laughing.汉语的语序:什么人+什么时间+什么地点+怎样做+为什么做+做什么例句:

22、到底指代什么。2 I never get up on Sundays.这是在说我一直以来的习惯,所以用了 般现在时。never从来不、绝对不。频率副词,可以用在多种时态中。例句:-Have you loved me?-Never.-Will you marry me?-Never.太绝情了!on Sundays在每一个星期天。on 用在具体的某一天之前,例如 on March 21,on Monday,on Monday morning在这里Sundays用了复数,表示在每一个星期天。3,I sometimes stay in bed until lunchtime.这句话也是,般现在时,表示
23、习惯。sometimes有时。频率副词。常用于一般现在时。例句:I usually get up at seven but sometimes at eight.stay in b e d 待在床上不起来。这恐怕是每个人的梦想吧,“赖床”。stay是个持续性动词。in b ed 在床上睡觉V S 仅仅是陷在床里面in the beduntil和 till的区别:till只用在肯定句中,until可以用在肯定句或否定句中。until用在肯定句中,表示,一个动作-宜持续到某时。He stayed in bed until/till lunchtime.用在否定句中,表示直到什么时间才做了某事0 H
24、e didnt get up until lunchtime.例 句:Last night I stayed up until/till 12:00.=Last night I didnt go to bed until 12:00.搞笑:梁朝伟在 韩城攻略里的台词:TTTTT=Till They Tell The Trutholunchtime午饭时间,一般是指11:0013:00。4、look out 小心,注意。Look out!Theres a hole in the ground.=Watch out!look out of.往的外面看。一f look into.往的里面看。【笑话】
25、5 It was dark outside.这里的it也是虚主语,指代天色。outside是地点副词,作状语。6、What a day!省略式感叹句。=What a day it is!=What a bad/terrible day it is!来 源:It is a bad day.f What a bad day it is!构成:W hat+名词(包括冠词和形容词)+主语代词+谓语动词+!对照:H ow+形容词/副词+主语(名词/代词)+谓语动词+!7、thought是 think的过去式。8 Its raining again.这里的it也是虚主语,代指天气。again反映了作者抱怨
26、的情绪。因为是放在引号里的直接引语,所以用了现在进行时be+doing。9、Just then,the telephone rang.then然后,那时。ju st就,仅仅。Just do it!是 NIKE的宣传口号。just then=at that moment 就在那时ring vi.不及物动词。The bell rings.The phone rang.ring vt.及物动词。ring sb.=call sb.10 It was my aunt.这里的it也是虚主语,代指某个不确定的人。打电话或敲门时。例句:-Whos that?-Its me,Rita.Action:Knock,
27、knock!不知人的性别时。例句:-Whos that baby?-Its my sister,Alice.Aunt Lucy称谓可以用在名字的前面。举例:Uncle T o m,汤姆大叔的小屋。IK Fve just arrived by train.这里的just是刚刚的意思,用于完成时。例 J句:-Have you finished your homework?-I have just finished it.by+具体的交通工具:by bus/bike/ship/air/plane.;on foot12 Fm coming to see you.用现在进行时表将来,表示即将、马上发生的
28、事。可用于这种情况的词:go,leave,arrive,die等。例句:Im leaving now.Tm dying.The train is arriving in five minutes.13 Tm still having my breakfast.这里的still跟 till长得很像,所以still是还、仍然的意思。吃饭:have breakfast/lunch/supper/dinner/a meal14、What are you doing?非常常用的一句话。Action-Hey,what are you doing here?-Im reading a book.15、rep
29、eat重复。re-是一个前缀,表 示“重来,再次”。例词:recovery复原;rem ix再混合,如歌曲的混音版;remind再次想起16 Dear m e!这也是一个感叹句。=Oh,my God!=My dear!=Goodness!=Good heavens!17、always 一直,总是。频率副词。常用于一般现在时。18、so late在这里so是个副词,修饰形容词在e。举例:so beautiful,so much,so clever19、Its one oclock!这里的it也是虚主语,代指时间。one oclock可以连读。四、总结与练习1、文化背景:早餐 breakfast,

43、oplewhole:强调个体的完整。the whole.例如:the whole world14 single 强调单数概念。例句:I will try my best to help every single student of mine.四、总结与练习1、文化背景:为什么这位作者的假期会被明信片搅得不得安宁呢?答案其实在标题中:Please send me a card.他的朋友们可能是在他出去度假之前跟他说:“请给我寄张明信片吧!”这个情况我也曾经遇到过。我去哪儿玩的时候我朋友就会说:“啊,给我买点什么好东东回来吧!”旅游时买的纪念品,用英语说是souvenir。我在最后一天的时候呢,
