8、ia,in 1756.Before the age of four,he had shown great musical talent.His father then decided to lethim start taking harpsichord lessons.The boys reputation as amusical talent grew fast.At five,he was composing music.Form that time on,Mozart was performing n concerts andwriting music.By his early teen

9、s,he had mastered the piano,violin and harpsichord,and was writing symphonies and operas.His first major opera was performed in Milan in 1770,when hewas only fourteen.At fifteen,Mozart became the conductor foran orchestra in Salzburg.In 1781,he left for Vienna,where hewas in great demand as both a p

10、erformer and a compositionteacher.His first opera was a success.But life was not easybecause he was a poor businessman,and his finances werealways in a bad state.His music from the next decade was notvery popular,and he eventually fell back on his teaching jobs fora living.In 1788 he stopped perform

22、 school,wrote a song together for the children,entitled“Good Morning to All”.When Mildred combined her musicaltalents with her sisters knowledge in the area of kindergarteneducation,Good Morning to AH”was sure to be a success.Thesister published the song in a collection entitled“Song Stories ofthe K

23、indergarten”in 1893.Thirty-one years later,after Dr.PattyHill became the head of the Department of KindergartenEducation at Columbia Universitys Teachers College,agentleman by the name Robert Coleman published the song,without the sisters permission.He added a second part,which isthe familiar“Happy

24、Birthday to You”.Mr.Colemans additionof the second part made the song popular and,finally,thesisters“original first part disappeared.Happy Birthday to You”had altogether replaced the sisters5 original song”GoodMorning to AH”.In 1916 Patty took legal action against Mr.Coleman.In court,she succeeded i
