2、uelThrough the Looking-Glass,aswellasthepoems“TheHuntingoftheSnark”and“Jabberwocky”,allexamplesofthegenreofliterarynonsense(荒唐文学).Heisnotedforhisfacilityatwordplay,logic,andfantasy,andtherearesocietiesinmanypartsoftheworlddedicatedtotheenjoymentandpromotionofhisworksandtheinvestigationofhislife.Alic

3、es Adventures in Wonderland is an 1865 novel written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym(笔名)Lewis Carroll.It tells of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar,anthropomorphic creatures.1.DescriptivemodificationFirstofall,al

4、otofdescriptivemodificationhavebeenincludedinthestory,suchas“awhiterabbitwithpinkeyes”,“inalanguid(倦怠的),sleepyvoice”andsoon,whichmakethenovelmoreconcreteandvisual.2.RhetoricaldevicesPersonification:Inthisnovel,alotofpeculiar,anthropomorphic(赋予人性的)creaturespresentedinthefantasyworld,suchasthetalkingr

12、lties and bad things when we grow up.Actually Wonderland is a nice place.Thats why I like this book.I always believe,the world is peace and wonderful,and the cherry will always be in full bloom.Like what Dickens said The pure,the bright,and the beautiful.These things shall never die.No matter how hard the life is,we should keep the simple and loving heart of our childhood.
