15、bution,services&after sales support,marketing communication,channel distribution,technology,architecture,test strategies,and platform strategies.This phase culminates in the approval(or disapproval)of a contract book which represents an internal contract to ourselves and describes what we will deliv

17、ocation of requirements and declares Design Readiness (Gate 6).The team then designs,implements,and tests the subsystem according to its own development techniques.Once satisfied with subsystem integration and test,a project business review declares System Test Readiness(Gate 5).The system,product o
18、r platform is then validated and verified according to the allocated requirements.Validation ensures that the system requirements are a valid representation of the desired system attributes,behavior,and performance.Verification proves that the implemented system satisfies the validated system requir

20、 regulatory concerns are approved,the project is deemed ready for field test(Gate 4).Field tests are conducted and modifications made where necessary.Manufacturing determines its materials streamresolves capacity issues,and conducts pilot builds to hone the manufacturing process.A project business r

23、eady.MPP(Marketing and Product Line Planning)plays a key role in the retirement of an opportunity as the triggers for retirement activation are monitored through the portfolio as a whole.Not that retirement may not only come after volume deployment.By monitoring the overall portfolio,products earlie
