They start to wear clothes and talk as if everyone should hear what they have to say. This period, however, does not often last long. They fall back to reality as fast as th
3、ey had risen above it all. What will it feel like to soar to such and look down like an eagle from up high on everyone else? And what will it feel like to have flown so high only to from your dream and realize you are only human? Some only see the in losing something they had gained. They often make
4、 attempts to regain what they lost. Often these efforts result in even greater pain. Some become financially and emotionally. The only real winners are those who are happy to be back on the ground with the rest of us.2Have you ever heard of Jon Stewart? He is currently one of the most popular comics
5、 on television. His pessimistic view of the politics and governmentlaughter, thought and even anger. He has a clever wit that often runs into with some government policies. His whole show is to making fun of the nonsense that occurs in politics. But, what makes his show so is his ability to tell his
6、 jokes with intelligence.Its not just comedy, said one media expert. His comments have a lot of over a very large audience in America. He has a lot of political power. Recently Stewart was a guest on a news show about politics. The host journalist a heated debate when he about Stewarts responsibilit
7、y to the American public. Stewart argued that while the content of the script for his show may be political in nature, his primary is to entertain. The host journalist, however, emphasized the political influence of his performance. The argument ended up anger from both parties. The incident how sen
8、sitive some people can be to what others find funny. It also showed how important comedians have become to politics.3What happens in America when someone becomes disabled and cannot do the kind of work they did in the past? If someone has been injured on the job, they are supposed to the medical wor
9、ker, who would certify that there was a problem. Then, they may receive from the company. If the company provides a(n) , the person may receive money monthly to make up for lostwages. The person who has been disabled may also take the company to court if safety was at the workplace. This usually res

In fact, this benefit is usually not enough to cover the rent and other bills of those who receive it. Most of the disabled still want to work, but from the inju

Inspiration in solitude is a major not only for poets and philosophers but for ordinary people as well. A healthy adult needs alone-time; time to on what is truly important
18、 to them. When you are alone, you can out your soul until it fills up the whole room, and use yourfreedom, moving at your own pace. However, its important to stay . Dont forget that in order to be a healthy part of others lives, you must yourself be healthy.6In the past several years, many news stor
19、ies about corporate greed have come to surface. The illegal practices of some executives have impacted our economy. What makes this worse is that these executives seem to have the of some political leaders. Some of the executives even lawmakers. Recently a member of Congress from California was caug
20、ht demanding gifts from interest groups in for supporting new laws. A few top leaders in the government are under for illegal activities. This doesnt even the surface of the problem. A few years back a company made many purposeful errors to fool investors. Many believe that one reason the problem be
21、came so big was that our nations top leaders the company. By the time the truth was , many innocent people had lost their entire savings. There seems to be more and more companies that the publics trust for their own interests. This calls for laws and strict regulations to put the illegal practice t
22、o an end.1 have read The History and Geography of Human Genes by Luca Cavalli-Sforza but still have some questions. Even though these findings seemingly prove that races are essentially equal on a genetic level, there are differences unexplained. It was Darwin who first the theory of natural selecti

We are and left to grow old without the company of others. I understood from a very young age our society against
27、 the old. Our society is against women. And, our society makes based on the color of a persons skin. I am an old black woman. I have to use my every advantage in order to a vital part of my community. I have managed to stay fit, to my looks while my wisdom increases. Often younger men my abilities.
28、However, I should tell you that I am very skilled in the art of politics. I was for many years the mayor of a large urban center in the Southern United States. After that I was selected by my district to them in Congress. I advise other women over sixty not to give up! Old as we are, we have experie

This made a lot of to me. I have never been at the top of my class, but I have always been and worked well with other people. I

I think only testing how well a person solves complicated academic problems fails to take into other abilities, which can be just as and even more so to a persons accomplishments. In fact, many of the idea people have a real hard t
36、ime getting their point across. They simply dont have the skills to how valuable their idea might be. Sure, the world would be lost without these idea people, but Id rather hire someone with EQ. The higher a persons EQ is, the better they will be able to the great ideas they have. The real trick is finding someone who combines both.
