Section B (2a-2e)课型Reading教材分析本单元以u interpersonal communication为中心话题,Section A主要探讨 当代中小学所面临的种种压力和困境,并针对这些问题给予合理的建议,Section B 不仅探讨了如何通过各种活动来减轻压力,还比较了东西方家长对子女教育的态度 和做法,该部分的学习将有利于学生学会换位思考,帮助他们逐渐建立正确、积极 的生活态度和价值观。本节课是阅读课,其阅读语篇介绍了一些中国父母和美国父母对孩子们业

2、余活 动和课外学习的安排以及想法,学生需要在理解所读内容的基础上总结出中美家庭 共同存在的问题,并能用自己的话来阐述文中不同人的观点和看法。本节课是在学 生已经会口头询问、陈述自己或他人的困难和麻烦,并针对别人的困境提出解决的 办法和建议的基础上,进行阅读的语言输入,让学生乐于阅读,基本养成阅读兴趣 和良好的阅读习惯,掌握概括段落大意、根据上下文推测词义等基本阅读方法,基 本掌握常用阅读策略。学情分析作为八年级的学生,对英语学习有着较为浓厚的兴趣,也有一定的英语表达能 力和基础。本节课的话题贴近学生的实际生活,学生有较强的表达欲望。在前面课 时的学习中,虽然学生枳累了一定的语言知识,能较询问、

3、陈述自己或他人的困难 和麻烦,并针对别人的困境提出解决的办法和建议,但大多基于听说层面,缺少完 整语篇理解的输入。教学目标1 .知识目标:1) .学习并理解、运用skill, typical, quick等新词汇;2) .能够综合运用所掌握的知识来询问、陈述自己或他人的困难和麻烦,并针 对别人的困境提出解决的办法和建议。2 .能力目标:能根据阅读目的在阅读材料中获取所需信息;能根据阅读中获得的 信息以及自己已有的知识比较事物的异同;能基本连贯地表述和表 达事实、观点、情感,形成基本的阅读表达能力。3 .情感目标:乐于阅读;了解并体会中国父母和美国父母对孩子们业余活动课外 学习的安排以及想法;学
