This is a topic that is related to their daily life, so it can raise their learning interests and it will be also helpful to i

3、mprove their spoken English.1. The teaching aims of this lessonA.: Knowledge objectsTo learn the target words raining, windy cloudy sunny snowing in this lesson. The target sentence construction in this lesson is: How is the weather?/ Whats the weather like?IfsB.: Ability objects:(1) To develop the

4、Ss! abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.(2) To train the Ss abilities of working in pairs.(3) To develop the Ss1 abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.C.:Emotion objects:To train the students to love nature, and develop their good friendship.2. They can understand some words and som

6、e simple sentences. But most of them dont often use English to express themselves and communicate with others. Some of them are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. In order to promote their interests, every class is a competition. All the students are divided into gro

7、up of six, and each group has a leader.Part three: The teaching methodsSituation teaching method, “Communicative” teaching method, Audio-visual teaching method, Task-based teaching method and Pair work.Part four: Learning methods:I request the students to study English independently cooperatively an

8、d investigative. Each unit in Go for it contains pair work, group work and games. The students who sit at the same table and groups can make a discussion and learn from each other. It makes each student relaxed. They neednt worry about making mistakes. It can help students to think and to say what t

Study becomes more relaxed and pleased in this kind of environment.Part five: The teaching proceduresStep 1 Review and warm-up (3 min)Purpose: To form a better surrounding for the students by speaking and doing some physical response and at the same time it provides situations to re

10、view learnt knowledge for the next step.1. Free talk between T and Ss about last unit.2. Review the present continuous tense by software.I will make a conversation with the students. I ask, students answer. The question is: What is he doing?” Students answer : He is cooking. The second picture, “ Wh
