The topic of this unit is to find the owners of things in the classroom, which belongs to the theme of human and society, interpers
2、onal communication. In our daily life we often lose or find things. Especially for students, it is normal for them to lose or find the school things in their school life, so to identify the ownership is a familiar topic for them. There are various ways to find the lost things or the owners, like to
3、ask the teachers or students, to visit the Lost and Found Office and to write notices on the board. In this class, students are required to read four notices about lost and found and guided to abstract the useful sentence structures and the form of notices so that they can get ready to write a notic
4、e by themselves for the next writing class. Meanwhile, students need to open their mind and realize that the notices can be used to find other lost things like pets with additional readings. The analysis of the studentsThe target students are the seventh students who are fresh men in the middle scho
5、ol. They havenl got used to the life style of middle school which is full of many different subjects and endless homework and test paper. They often lose their things, especially books and test paper in the school life. Thus, lost and found notices can be practical for them to learn and apply. Altho
6、ugh they are at the start of learning English, they have mastered the important words about school things and the useful sentences to identify the ownership, and they also have learnt some ways to find things in this unit. For abilities, they have tried to read passages and find information by pictu
