12、主题依然是“保护地球”，只不过这次坏蛋从威震天变成“叛徒”御天敌，威震天退居次席，戏份也变得很少。而且这次火玩得更大，御天敌为了重建塞博坦星球，利用太空桥将塞博坦移到地球，使人类变成他们的奴隶从而帮助他们建立塞博坦。当然这一切最终还是失败了！只不过铁皮和古怪被杀，而且铁皮连怎么死的都不知道，大黄蜂也差点挂了，擎天柱失去了一只胳膊，威震天的戏份过少，这些总让人感到有些遗憾，虽然这是必不可少的某些结果，可是总有点残酷。影片人物上依然靠希亚的出色表演，特鲁图鲁的滑稽表现来丰富影片的内容，对于女主角，观众们一致性地表现了不满，没有梅甘福克斯的性感和火辣，当然也不会演戏，虽然梅甘也不会演，但是梅甘会当好
13、花瓶，竭力去表现自己会演戏。片中加上了大量的围绕现实的问题，比方就业，展现了当今经济危机下就连常青藤盟校的高材生想找一份满意的工作都是如此困难。对于 3D 技术的使用，影片表现得很出色。机器人的变形、打斗、枪械依然如初精彩，火爆的场面控制，这也是迈克尔贝的表现重点。在镜头的把握与摄像上，长镜头的运用给了观众一种空间感，同时在跳伞运发动身上安装 3D 摄像头也比较逼真展现军人在空中飞行的姿态。军方的参与永远给电影的打斗增色不少，也满足了观众的胃口。NASA，人类首次登月，奥尔德林的客串，肯尼迪的再现，都给了影片一种真实感。这与人们希望知道官方的机密以及认为官方经常骗人来进展秘密实验的心理所作祟有关，当然，迈克尔贝给了观众知道的权利。能把观众带动起来的除了机器人的变身与打斗之外，还有音乐的震撼，这始终是我喜欢变形金刚 3的主要原因之一，就像当年迈克尔的勇闯夺命岛和珍珠港的配乐一样出色，让人的灵魂随之飘荡，热血翻滚。总体而言，在剧情不太令人满意的情况下，有了特效的逼真，和火爆场景的设置，已经让人逐渐进入影片正规去享受它，所以这是一部十分适合休闲的影片。很棒，很刺激，也很享受。
