6、ention-8-7.expose vt.揭露,使曝光,使面临,使暴露expose sb./oneself/sth.to sth.使某人/物暴露在/面临着某事;使人接触到某物be exposed to意为暴露于,处于危险中Special attention-9-.短语集锦1、put oneself/sb.forward 自荐或推荐某人为某职位的候选人put sth.forward 提出,把时钟往前拨;提前put out 扑灭,生产 put up 举起,搭建,张贴 put on weight 增加体重 put off 推迟 put on 穿上,上演 put up with 容忍 put down
7、 放下,写下,镇压 put through 接通(电话),完成Special attention-10-2、besides/except/except for/apart frombesides是“除了以外(还有)”的意思,有肯定的附加意义,表示在整体中加上一部分,除去的部分包括在内,是包容关系;还可作副词,表示“另外”,相当于in addition。except 是“除了以外(没有)”的意思,表示在整体中减去一部分,除去的部分要排除在外,是排除关系。前后名词性质相同。except for 意思是“除之外”,用于引述细节以修正和补充句子的主要意思。前后名词性质不相同。apart from 具有
8、多重意义,既可表示besides,也可表示except 或except for。Special attention-11-3.look into 向里看;浏览;研究 Special attention-12-.重点句型1.neithernor既不也不,连接并列主语时,按照就近一致原则使用单复数。【注意】类似的连词还有or,eitheror,whetheror,not onlybut also2.every time可作连词,相当于whenever连接时间状语从句的还有each time,next time,every day,the moment,the minute等。某些表示“立刻、马上”
