1、高中英语语法状语从句:常考词汇归纳sothat与suchthat1.sothat用于以下四个句型：so+形容词/副词+thatso+形容词+a/an+单数可数名词+thatso+ many(多) / few(少) +复数可数名词+thatso+ much(多) /little(少) +不可数名词+thatThis teacher is so kind that we all like him.这个老师非常和谒，我们都喜欢他。He ran so quickly that we all couldnt catch up with him.他跑得很快，我们都追不上他。This is so inter
2、esting a book that we all enjoy reading it.这本书非常有趣，我们都喜欢看。He has so many books that I cant count them.他有很多书，我数也数不清。There was so much food that we couldnt eat it all.食物太多了，我们吃不完。I have so little money that I cannot afford a car.我的钱太少，买不起车。注：若little表示“小”时，要用such。如：He is such a little boy that he cant
3、lift the box.他是这么小的小小孩，提不到那个箱子。2.suchthat用于以下三个句型：such+ a/an+形容词+单数可数名词+thatsuch+形容词+复数可数名词+thatsuch+形容词+不可数名词+thatsuch+不可数名词+thatThis is such an interesting book that we all enjoy reading it.这本书非常有趣，我们都喜欢看。They are such interesting books that we all enjoy reading them.这些书很有趣，我们都喜欢看。He shut the wind
4、ow with such force that the glass broke.他关窗子用力很大，玻璃都震破了。unless与ifnot表示否定条件时有何区别两者都可表示否定的条件，有时可换用。如：Come tomorrow unless I phone if I dont phone.要是我没有打电话，明天就来。You wont catch the train unless you hurry if you dont hurry.你要是不赶快，你就赶不上火车了。但是在下列情况下，通常要用if . not而不用unless：1.当从句所引出的情况不是表示主句情况发生的一种例外而只是一种可能，并
5、且这种可能正是导致主句情况发生的主要原因时，英语习惯只用if.not，不用unless。如：Ill be surprised if he doesnt win.如果他不赢，我会感到惊奇。Shed look nicer if she didnt wear so much make-up.要是她不过分打扮，本来会更好看的。Ill be sorry if they do not come tomorrow.如果他们明天不来，我将感到非常遗憾。2.当从句内容与已知事实相反时（即引出虚拟条件时），通常要用if.not，而不用unless。如：If he werent so silly, he would
6、 understand.他要不是那样傻的话，他就会明白了。（实际上他很傻）If I hadnt stopped her, she would have jumped down.要不是我阻止了她，她就跳下去了。（实际上我阻止了她）unless有时可引出一个过去未曾实现的假想法情况，对前面主句进行补充说明（此时必须置于主句之后，且前面常用破折号而不用逗号）。如：I couldnt have got to the meeting on timeunless I had caught an earlier train.我不可能及时赶到会场，除非我赶上了较早一班火车。（事实是“我”没有及时到会）此句若将
7、unless改为if.not，则成为：I couldnt have got there If I hadnt caught an earlier train.如果我没赶上较早一班火车，我就不能到达那儿了。（事实是“我”及时到会了）It besince /before /when从句归纳1.“It be +时间段+since”表示“自从以来有多久了”，但若从句谓语是延续性动词时，则意为“(多久)不做了”。2.“It be+时间段+before”表示“过之后才”，若be是否定式，则表示“没过就”。3.“It be +时间点+before”表示“在之前，时间是”。4.“It be +时间点+when
8、”表示“当时，时间是”。It is three years since I joined the Party.我入党有三年了。It is three years since he lived here.他不住这里有三年了。It will be years before we meet again.要过几年之后我们才能重相聚。It was not long before he came back.没过多久他就回来了。It was evening before they got here.他们到达这里之前就已天夜了。It was five oclock when he got home.他回到家时
9、已是五点了。(比较强调结构：It was at five oclock that he got home. )as long as和so long as引导条件状语从句的区别as long as和so long as均可表示“只要”，用于引导条件状语从句，两者没什么区别。如：I dont care so as long as she lets me be with her son.只要她让我和她儿子在一起，我不在乎。You can take my car as so long as you drive carefully.你可以用我的汽车，只要你小心点儿开。You may use my dic
10、tionary as so long as you dont keep it too long.只要使用时间不太长，你可以用我的词典。但是，当as long as用于本义表示“与一样长”时，与so long as在用法上是有区别的，即as long as可用于肯定句或否定句，而so long as只用于否定句，不用于肯定句。如：It took three timesas long asI had expected.这件事比我预料的多花了两倍的时间。It didnt take as so long as I expected.花的时间比我预料的短。in that作为连词的用法in that是一种
11、固定搭配，其意为“因为”，与for the reason that, because同义，可用于引导原因状语从句。如：Im in a slightly awkward position in that hes not arriving until the 10th.我的处境有点尴尬，因为他要到10号才来。Most of them are not in reality engineers, in that the work they do is mostly clerical.他们中的大多数人实际上都不是工程师，因为他们做的主要是办公室工作。I am an optimist in that I
12、believe that human beings do not always perversely try to make life worse for themselves.我是乐天派的人，因为我认为人类并非总是违反常情地力图使自己的生活变差。even though和even if的用法区别eventhough 和even if均可用于引导让步状语从句，其细微区别是：1.even if引导的从句是往往是假设性的，相当于汉语的“即使”“纵然”“就算”“哪怕”。如：Theyll stand by you even if you dont succeed.即使你不成功，他们也会支持你。Even
13、if I have to walk all the way Ill get there.即使我得一路走着去，我也要走到那里。Even if it rains tomorrow, we wont change our plan.即使明天下雨，我们也决不改变计划。For my part, I plan to go to the party even if you decide not to go.至于我，即使你决定不去参加晚会我也会去的。Even if you saw him pick up the money, you cant be sure he stole it.就算你看见是他拾起的钱，你
14、也不能肯定钱就是他偷的。正因为even if从句的内容通常是假设性的，所以有时还可用于虚拟语气；这样用的even if与单独使用的if比较接近。如：Even if he had the money, he wouldnt buy it.他即使有钱也不会买它。I would have married her even if she had been penniless.即使她身无分文，我也会和她结婚。2.even though引导的从句内容往往是真实的，主要用于引出不利用于主句情况的信息，相当于汉语的“尽管”“虽然”。如：He went out even though it was rainin
15、g.尽管在下雨，他还是出去了。Even though its hard work, I enjoy it.虽然工作艰苦，我还是很喜欢。Hes the best teacher even though he has the least experience.他尽管经验最少，但教得最好。Even though I didnt know anybody at the party, I had a nice time.尽管这次聚会上我谁也不认识，我也玩得挺痛快。这样用的even though与though或although的意思比较接近，许多时候可以互换（注意：英语可以说though和even tho
16、ugh，但不能说even although）。如：Even though Thought, Although I felt sorry for him, l was secretly pleased tha t he was having difficulties.虽然我为他感到惋惜，但对他的困难却暗自高兴。Even though Thought, Although we all tried our best, we lost the game.虽然我们已尽了最大的力量，但还是输了。3.不过，在实际语言运用中，even if与even though有时也可不加区别地混用。如：Even if Even though she laughs at him, he likes her.尽管她嘲笑他，他还是很喜欢她。We thoroughly understand each other, even if even though we dont always agree.我们彼此非常了解，虽然有时候也有一些分歧。学科网（北京）股份有限公司
