11、ng二、二、语法的运用语法的运用:虚拟语气的运用。动词的虚拟式提出建议或请求,使语气委婉含蓄。进行时态的运用。同虚拟语气,能够使建议更加委婉,留有余地。通过上面例子的分析,在提出请求的时候,使用虚拟语气,可以避免咄咄逼人,更有利于形成融洽的气氛。例:We should be grateful if you would change the invoice and let us have a correct copy.例:I was wondering whether you could lower the price.在本例中,运用了进行时,使请求听起来好像听话人的一时想法,没有经过周密的考虑
12、,减轻了请求或建议对面子的潜在威胁。Email Writing Skill Training二、二、语法的运用语法的运用:2,场景应用:内容涉及客户导致的错误或过失。被动语态的运用。用被动句则说明我们这么做是不得已而为之,事情的结果并不是自己所期望的。英语的被动句强调的是动作的承受者,在商务信函上,使用被动语态是防止责备口气的一个最好的办法。分析例句发现,第一句人做主语,说话有责备的口气。第二句话将主语换成物,重点从发出动作的人转移到接受动作的对象上去了,这样对方也就摆脱了尴尬的境地。例:You deliver the goods in error.The goods were deliver
13、ed in error.Email Writing Skill Training二、二、语法的运用语法的运用:3,场景运用:要求对方去做的一些事情,如同事之间寻求帮忙运用疑问句。疑问句在交际中可以用来间接地表达言语行为,使得威胁面子的行为隐藏在提问中,这样使对方有一种受尊重感。例:Can you send us a copy of your latest catalogue?Can you help me to do sth?Email Writing Skill Training二、二、语法的运用语法的运用:4,场景运用:表达请求意愿或拒绝对方要求。复合句的运用。常用“I wish”,“I
14、hope”,提出要求或表达意愿,语气委婉,避免居高自傲,体现双方平等地位。使用I am afraid,I am sorry等构成复合句在拒绝对方的请求时缓和语气。例1:We should be most grateful if you could dispatch the goods as soon as possible.例2:I am sorry we cant advance the time of shipment.if从句带来了很好的礼貌效果,比直接要求对方效果要好很多。通过使用复合句的形式,将语气生硬的口气转变成使对方感受到面子受到尊重。Email Writing Skill Training二、二、语法的运用语法的运用:5,场景运用:肯定对方的工作成果或者赞赏肯定句的运用。对对方的尊重体现在对对方的态度的积极性,就是强调事情的正面。Email Writing Skill Training谢 谢!
