1、Unit 3 Family Matters Understanding ideas 教学设计课程基本信息学科英语年级高一年级学期秋季课题Family Matters教科书书 名:普通高中教科书英语必修第一册出版社:外语教学与研究出版社教学目标1.能够理解与家庭生活有关的表达方式,听懂并运用所学知识谈论与家庭有关的话题,发展可以向家庭成员表达歉意和意见的能力,通过阅读能读懂戏剧对话的大意和挖掘相关关键信息,培养略读和寻读两种能力。2.能够自觉传承中国家庭的优良传统,正确认识中外家庭观念和生活方式的异同,深入理解良好家庭关系的重要意义,不断丰富现代家庭观的基本内涵,形成正确的人生观、价值观。3.能
2、够通过了解与家庭生活有关的内容,激发英语学习的兴趣;能够选择恰当的策略与方法,监控、反思和调整自己的学习内容和进程。4.能够正确判断阅读篇章中人物的观点和态度,评价不同人物的观点;能够联系自身实际,合理有效的与家人解决争端并达成共识。教学内容教学重点:1. 阅读戏剧对话,初步了解不同国家的家庭文化,快速获取细节信息,并对信息进行概括归纳。2. 能够向家里人表达自己的想法,做好积极有效的沟通。3. 掌握常见沟通方法的英文表达。教学难点:1. 掌握戏剧的文体特征、基本要素以及戏剧对话常见的阅读方法。2. 如何分角色演绎人物独白。3. 能较快的读懂和听懂文章(对话)大意,较为准确的搜寻到关键信息,并
3、与他人进行有效的交流。教学过程Step1 leading-in第一步:播放视频,请学生通过画面和视频对白尝试回答以下两个问题。 第二步:学生分组展开讨论,对视频中的家庭生活作出评价。Watch the video and answer the questions. 1 What is the video mainly about? 2 How do you feel about the family? 参考答案 1 Its about an American family welcoming Grandpa and exchanging presents with him. 2 Student

Step2 Starting out 第一步:学生分组看图片,并辨识各个图片分别是哪个家庭的,简单介绍及评价这些家庭的生活,老师总结学生的发言。 第二步:全班分享讨论结果,并请大家分享其他家庭生活相关的故事。 Look at the pictures and answer the questions. 1 What do you already know about these families?
