1、Unit 3 Family Matters Understanding ideas 教学设计课程基本信息学科英语年级高一年级学期秋季课题Family Matters教科书书 名：普通高中教科书英语必修第一册出版社：外语教学与研究出版社教学目标1.能够理解与家庭生活有关的表达方式，听懂并运用所学知识谈论与家庭有关的话题，发展可以向家庭成员表达歉意和意见的能力，通过阅读能读懂戏剧对话的大意和挖掘相关关键信息，培养略读和寻读两种能力。2.能够自觉传承中国家庭的优良传统，正确认识中外家庭观念和生活方式的异同，深入理解良好家庭关系的重要意义，不断丰富现代家庭观的基本内涵，形成正确的人生观、价值观。3.能
2、够通过了解与家庭生活有关的内容，激发英语学习的兴趣；能够选择恰当的策略与方法，监控、反思和调整自己的学习内容和进程。4.能够正确判断阅读篇章中人物的观点和态度，评价不同人物的观点；能够联系自身实际，合理有效的与家人解决争端并达成共识。教学内容教学重点：1. 阅读戏剧对话，初步了解不同国家的家庭文化，快速获取细节信息,并对信息进行概括归纳。2. 能够向家里人表达自己的想法，做好积极有效的沟通。3. 掌握常见沟通方法的英文表达。教学难点：1. 掌握戏剧的文体特征、基本要素以及戏剧对话常见的阅读方法。2. 如何分角色演绎人物独白。3. 能较快的读懂和听懂文章（对话）大意，较为准确的搜寻到关键信息，并
3、与他人进行有效的交流。教学过程Step1 leading-in第一步：播放视频，请学生通过画面和视频对白尝试回答以下两个问题。 第二步：学生分组展开讨论，对视频中的家庭生活作出评价。Watch the video and answer the questions. 1 What is the video mainly about? 2 How do you feel about the family? 参考答案 1 Its about an American family welcoming Grandpa and exchanging presents with him. 2 Student

Step2 Starting out 第一步：学生分组看图片，并辨识各个图片分别是哪个家庭的，简单介绍及评价这些家庭的生活，老师总结学生的发言。 第二步：全班分享讨论结果，并请大家分享其他家庭生活相关的故事。 Look at the pictures and answer the questions. 1 What do you already know about these families?
