3、eDelacroixwasinspiredtopaintLibertyLeadingthePeopleaftertheFrenchRevolutionof1830,whichendedFrancesabsolutemonarchy.VenusdeMiloVenusdeMilo(about150-100bc)isconsideredbymanyarthistorianstobetheidealofHellenisticbeauty.Itwascarvedoutofmarbleandstandsapproximately205cm(6ft10in)high.ItishousedintheLouvr
4、einParis,France.MonaLisaMonaLisa(1503-1506),paintedbytheItalianartistLeonardodaVinci,wasalsoknownasLaGioconda,possiblyreferringtothesubjectshusband,bankerZanobidelGiocondo.Theartistsuseofverydeepspaceinthebackgroundwithaclose-inportraitistypicalofRenaissancepaintingstyle.ThepaintinghangsintheLouvre,
5、ParisTheLouvrePyramidTheLouvrePyramidisalargeglassandmetalpyramid,surroundedbythreesmallerones,inthecourtyardoftheLouvreMuseum(MuseduLouvre)inParis,France.Thelargepyramidservesasthemainentrancetothemuseum.Completedin1989,ithasbecomealandmarkforthecityofParis.Thesolidisforthedead,butthetransparentisf
