1、教学设计Unit6 When was it invented?SectionB la-le一、教学目标知识与技能:学习如何用形容词描述食物口感,继续学习和巩固本单元目标;学习策略:听前根据文字和图片推测文章大意,完成听力材料;文化意识:了解薯片的发明过程;情感态度:生活中偶然发生的小事往往蕴含大惊喜。二、教学内容:la:用图片引入表示食物口感的形容词;1b:运用更多的形容词描述食物;1c:根据听力策略,完成听力内容;Id:再听一次故事,对本文进行深入理解,根据上下文补全内容;le:根据听力信息,小组操练,模仿对话,进行复述。三、教学步骤lead-in(l)T:Whats your favori

3、e-listening教师展示主题图,询问学生:Whats in the two boys hand?What are they doing?请学生阅读6个句子,勾画关键词,如:by mistake/not thin/not salty/happy等等;3 While-listening教师播放听力,学生听并圈出答案,听后,用对话的形式订正核对答案;订正答 案后,教师继续追问:How were the potato chips invented?When were they invented in?Who thought the potatoes were not thin enough?(2

4、)再听一次听力,完成教师预设问题;听前预填,再听核对答案;带入情感目标一Potato chips were invented by mistake, but people love them very much, and theyre still very popular today, life can be full of fun because of accidentally inventions.再次播放听力,学生模仿语音语调,关注几个听力问题:Who invented potato chips?When was invented?How were invented?Whats the

5、influence?4 Post-listening(l)conversation学生仿读对话,根据教师给出的图片提示完成对话操练,教师给出示范,鼓励学生尽量将对话加长,用连词使对话更流畅;(2)Retell学生在小组对话后,根据思维导图提示信息进行听力复述;(3)Deeply thinkingCould this accidental invention change Georges life? How?学生根据图片信息发挥想象,进行小组讨论。结合本单元所学一些发明,进一步引发学生思考,哪些是scientific inventions,哪 些是 accidental inventions?5
