1、Module 5 A Trip Along the Three Gorges (Reading)教学设计一、教材分析本节课是外研版英语(新标准)高中第四册(必修四)Modulc5 A Trip Along the Three Gorges的Reading 部分。本模块以A Trip Along the Three Gorges为话题,阅读为三峡之旅,介绍了三峡的风光,古迹,沿途的 所见所闻。通过本模块的学习带领学生走进长江,走进三峡,了解长江沿途的三峡自然风光和人文景观。学会以 时间和地点为顺序的记叙手法。Reading部分要求学生利用所学词汇阅读短文,了解三峡。训练学生速读、精 读的能力。二

2、、学情分析 在必修三ModuIe5 The Three Gorges Dam学生已经了解到有关三峡的信息,因此学生会对相 关三峡的话题较感兴趣,也比较熟悉。但作为普通高中的高学生,还需要老师引导,以培养他们自主合作和探 究的能力及英语阅读的能力。三、教学目标Teaching Goals:1 .知识与技能:(1) be able to learn some geographic words and some new words.(2) be able to introduce the Three Gorges in their own words;improve the reading abil

3、ity;(3) be able to retell the text with the help of key words.2 .过程与方法:(1) Train students speaking ability through individual , pair or group work.(2) Discuss the questions about the passage.(3)Summarize the route of the writer.3 .情感与价值:Learn about the beautiful scenery of our country and love it. 4、ncourage students to travel more, to experience more and learn to protect the environment.四、教学重难点Teaching important points: Discuss the questions of comprehension and get the main idea of the passage.Teaching difficult points: Find the clues about the writer, s journey. 五、教学方法。新课程提倡运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心问题,

5、设定小任务;围绕文章内容,尽可能提供训练学生技能的 机会;开展自主性学习的课堂活动,强调合作探究与独立思考相结合。这节课本人主要采用任务型教学法和活动教学法(小组讨论),借助多媒体展开教学活动。通过运用阅读技巧提高阅读能力,从而使学生掌握阅读 策略。引导学生根据不同的学习任务尝试使用不同的学习策略,使良好的学习习惯得以培养,自主学习和合作得 以发展,交际能力和综合运用能力得以提高。六、学习方法指导通过本课教学,我将主要培养学生掌握以下学习方法:1、合作学习法:通过小组形式完 成多种活动,培养探究和合作意识与能力。2、运用思维导图学习法:运用思维导图来更好的理解和记忆课文。 七、教学过程以学生为

6、主,教师为主导的原则,设计不同的课堂任务,让学生通过独立思考或小组活动,共同探究,最后完成 本课的教学目标。Teaching Procedures:Step 1 Warming upRole play. Ask them to guess what I , in going to do. Then talk about the benefits of travel.
