2、 for a few cents to buy something to eat.他手中拿了一个旧的袋子，去每一家讨几分钱来买些吃的。While he was begging he kept wondering why people who had so much money were never satisfied but were always wanting more.1.keep+doing;keep on doing当在乞讨的时候，他一直想不通为什么有些人那么有钱却永远不满足。“Here,”he thought aloud,“is the master of this house”.

10、he golden stream would only pour forever!Forever 永远那个乞丐的手开始颤抖。啊，如果这个金子水流可以永远流就好了。You are the richest man in the world now!“Just a little more,”said the beggar.“There,its full.The bag will burst.”你说这个世界上最富有的人了再来一点，那个乞丐说。好了，已经满了，再倒袋子就破了。But it will hold a little more,just a little more.Another piece was added,and the bag burst.The treasure fell upon the ground and was turned to dust.Fortune had gone.The beggar had now nothing but his broken bag.He was poorer than before.但是他还能装一点，只要一点点。另一块金子加进袋子里面，袋子破掉了。所有的财宝掉在了地上，变成了垃圾。财富走了。那个乞丐现在除了一个破的袋子以外什么都没有了。他比以前更穷了。Thank you
