7、gmatismoccurswhenthesurfaceofthecorneaorofthelensisnotperfectlysmooth.If,forexample,thereisasmallflatspotonyourcorneatheimageinacertaindirectiononyourretinawillnotbeinperfectfocus.Ifthefigureontherightwasconstructedwithalltheradiallinesofequalsharpnessandcontrastapersonwithoutastigmatismwouldseeallt
