5、glish. Moreover, the quality of ones lifelong education would be heavily influenced by the quality of ones English education in primary school, middle school and college. The middle school education serves as the combination of ones childhood and adult age, being considered to be the very important

6、component of ones lifelong education. It is under that background that China began to reform the new curriculum criteria of middle school at the turn of the 2000. In order to comply with the requirements of the new curriculum reform, many studies have been made and a lot of novel teaching models cam

7、e into being, among which a widely-known model is the guided learning plan model. This novel teaching model, with the characteristics of autonomous, cooperative and explorative, was employed into English teaching in many middle schools and colleges at a very short period of time. Most of the studies

8、 that have been made till now either focus on the theoretical analysis of this model and thus be in short of the practical application, or can only apply this model in some urban schools or colleges, without some conclusions in depth. As for the results, experience, and success of this model, there

9、is still a lot of reflection to be done in order to apply this model more effectively. More importantly, most of the applications of this model focus on the urban middle schools. There has been little research on how to apply this novel teaching model in English teaching in rural senior high schools

10、. This thesis aims to apply the guided learning plan model in English teaching based on the current situations of rural high schools. The researcher is aimed at finding out the effects of the application of this novel teaching model on the rural high school students English learning. Besides, the re

11、searcher also would like to offer some experience for the rural English teachers. Thus, the combination of the theoretical study and application of the guided learning model in the rural high schools could be strengthened. This research was accomplished by the utilization of questionnaire, test, and

12、 interview. Based on the literature study of the theoretical basis of guided learning plan, the researcher designed some practical guided learning plans and applied them in English class for four months. The subjects of the study are 109 students from a rural high school of Pingshan. Most of these s

13、tudents came from rural families and had never known the guided learning plan model before they enrolled in this high school. The research subjects of this study are chosen from two classes in grade one. Before the experiment, the researcher gave the students of the two classes a pre-test. Since the

14、 results of the pre-test proved the similarity in English level of these two classes, the researcher continued to conduct the experiment. Then the students were asked to finish a questionnaire which aimed to investigate their ability and condition of English learning. Having applied the guided learn

15、ing plan model for four months, the researcher gave the students another test in January. Besides, the researcher also used the same questionnaire to investigate the changes of English learning of these students. The researcher also interviewed some students in order to find more detailed informatio

16、n to answer the research questions. According to the results of the post-test, interview, and questionnaire, the researcher found that the guided learning plan model did exert some positive effects on the students English learning. There are some limitations of the study, for example, how to adjust

17、the learning plan in order to meet the students5 various learning requirements. Therefore, more studies relevant to the guided learning plan in rural high school English classes are welcomed. This thesis is mainly made up of five chapters. Chapter one is the introduction of the thesis, including bac

18、kground of the study, significance of the study, research questions, and the organization of the thesis. Chapter two is the literature review of the thesis. In this chapter, the relevant theories and research about guided learning plan model are clearly explained. Chapter three is involved with the

19、research methodology, in which the research subjects, research instruments and data collection procedures are clearly illustrated. Chapter four is the analysis and discussion of the results of the research. Chapter five concludes the previous discussion of the research, including the major findings,

20、 pedagogical implications, limitations and suggestions of this research. Key words: Guided Learning Plan English Teaching Rural High School ii 摘要 近年来,随着社会经济的快速发展,在全球化浪潮冲击之下,英语水平越来越受到 重视。一个人在基础教育阶段的英语水平,很大程度上决定着其终身学习英语的水平。 中学教育是一个人的的童年时期与成年时期的过渡阶段,也是决定终身学习质量的关键 期。正是在此大背景之下,中国在 21 世纪初开始了新一轮的高中新课程标准改革。

21、为了 适应新课标的要求,学者们己经进行了许多相关研宄与调查。许多新兴的教学模式和方 法也因此应运而生。其中一种教学模式便是学案导学模式。 学案导学模式最明显的特点便是注重培养学生的学习自主性,合作性和探索性。这 一教学模式,符合新课标教学理念,并且被广泛运用于许多中学和大学的课堂。目前, 学案导学模式在国内外的研宄和应用己经有了一定发展,但综观国内的相关研宄,一类 大多是聚焦于理论性研宄,缺乏实践经验,一类多是针对城市示范性高中的实践调查,对 于研究结果缺少深度的理论分析归纳,从而形成可供参考的经验。而目前专门针 对农村 高中英语教学现状的导学案应用研宄却寥寥无几。 笔者试图运用导学案这一新兴

22、教学模式,与农村高中英语教学实际相结合,研宄如 何切实提高农村高中英语课堂效率,旨在践行高中英语新课标理念,探索适合农村高中 英语学科的导学案设计与课堂基本操作,填补学案导学模式在农村高中英语教学中教学 理论研究与教学实践方面结合不紧密的缺陷。 本研宄主要采用了调查问卷法和访谈法等方法进行研宄。基于对导学案模式的理论 研宄,笔者设计出了符合农村高中的导学案课例,并且把这一模式运用到了某农村高中 的英语教学中去。本研宄持续时长为四 个月,对象是平山县某农村高中的高一 109 名学 生。这些学生大多数来自农村家庭,并且在上高中之前从未接受过导学案教学。笔者在 平行班中选取了两个班级,分别作为实验班

23、和控制班。为了保证实验的科学性,笔者对 两个班级的新生进行了前测。结果显示两个班级英语成绩平均分很相近,可以进行实验 对比研宄。随后,笔者对学生们进行了问卷调查,根据所获信息的分析与总结,作者把 这些经验总结运用到导学案编写中去,设计出了导学案应用课例。 笔者在实验班实践了导学案教学模式之后,又进行了一次关于导学案使用情况的问 卷调查。对比分析结 果,发现学生学习兴趣有所提高,英语学习策略应用能力和自我监 控能力也有所提高,英语学业成绩也有所提升。通过对学生和老师的的后期访谈,笔者 III 发现在导学案的实施过程中有一些问题,比如:一些学生尤其是学困生没有充分参与课 堂活动,课后学案保存和后继

24、利用情况不理想等等。由于本研宄时间有限,针对的也只 是某个农村高中,范围上有限,因此本研宄具有一定局限性。对于如何兼顾不同学习层 次的农村学生的英语学习需求,进一步切实提高导学案在农村高中实施效果等方面还需 要进一步的研究。 本文包括五个章节。第一章是简介部分,主要包括研究背景,研究意义以及全文结 构。第二章是文献综述。第三章介绍了研究的细节和过程,包括研宄问题,研究主体, 研宄方法和研宄工具等。第四章是研宄结果的分析与讨论。第五章对前面所做研宄和讨 论得出结论,主要包括研究结论,针对农村高中英语教学的一些实际建议以及本研宄的 局限性。 关键字:学案导学 英 语 教 学 农 村 高 中 IV

In addition to that, the quality of lifelong English study would be largely determined by the quality of English education, especially the high school education. At the era of knowledge-

35、driven economy, the high school English teachers should give some deep thoughts about this question: what are the objectives and principles of English teaching nowadays? The ability of learning should be a necessity of modem people who wants to achieve success in the modem society. Just as the former premier Wen Jiabao (2013) said, “The foremost issue of education in China should be the implement of heuristic education principles.
