Section A 1a-2c 一、教学课型:听说课 (45分钟) 本节课是通过对三对双胞胎的描述与比较,使学生掌握比较级的基本句型;能够使用简单的结构对两个人进行比较。 二、教材分析: 1 教学内容 人教版新目标英语八年级上第三单元Section A 1a-2c 2 教材处理: 本节课我结合听说课的特点设计了导入、练习、听录音、对话练习、讨论总节和作业巩固六个教学步骤。旨在通过这些来帮助学生掌握有效的阅读策略和技巧。学会把握语篇结构并灵活运用新知识。同时增强学生的拼搏意识。 3 教学目标:
2、1) 培养学生运用skimming 的阅读策略来找各段中心句并从整体上把握语篇结构的能力。 2) 培养通过综合各段中心意思来总结中心大意的能力。 3) 通过细读来提高学生寻找细节的能力。 4) 通过细读培养学生的猜词能力,并帮助学生会灵活运用关键词。 5) 通过帮助学生分析文章结构使学生会运用关键词结合主题句来复述文章。 6) 情感态度方面,激发学生对于成功的渴望并培养学生顽强拼搏的精神。 4 教学重点和难点: 培养学生运用skimming 的阅读策略来找各段中心句并从整体上把握语篇结构的能力。 通过细读培养学生的猜词能力,并帮助学生会灵活运用关键词。 通过帮助学生分析文章结构使学生会运用关键
3、词结合主题句来复述文章。 三、教学设计 (一) 总体设计: 本节课是阅读课为了激发学生的好奇心和求知欲,我通过引导学生谈论自己所熟悉的体育明星进而引出课文。阅读活动分为读前、读中和读后同时插入了听录音部分。我设计通过阅读策略学会找各段中心句通过细读理解关键词并深入理解文章。在理解的基础上复述课文。 通过小组讨论,引导学生学习优秀人的品质。作业部分旨在培养学生的书面表达能力。 (二) 教学过程: Step 1 lead-in (2分钟) 1) Look at the pictures on the screen, can you tell something about them ? For e
4、xample: Which team does she or he belong to? How much money does he earn in a year ? How many prizes has she or he won? 2) Teacher picks out one or two students to report their opinions. 3) Teacher shows the picture of Venus and Serena and asks them if they know about them to lead in this leon. 1 设计

7、 ) 设计说明: 利用skimming 阅读技巧使学生从整体上把握文章结构。使学生通过语篇结构把握文章。 Step 3 while reading 1) Teacher asks students to scan the text quickly then check their guees.(5分钟) 设计说明: 根据所给的信息来提高学生对于文章的预测能力。 2) First, students read the text carefully then answer the following questions by using a complete sentence for each a
8、nswer.Then students work in pairs to check their answers.At last, teacher chooses some students to report their answers.(10分钟) 1)Why are the two sisters unusual? 2) Why when the sisters were practice tennis they had to run and hide? 3) Who won the US Open in 2023? (Suggested answers: 1) Because they
9、 are both tennis champions who played each other regularly.2) Because in that place, there was full of drugs and violence.3) Serena Williams won the US Open in 2023 ) 设计说明: 该环节要求学生细读文章捕捉文章细节,深入理解文章。同时,掌握细节理解解题和合理判断问题的基本方法。即:寻找关键词所在的句子,根据句子做出合理的判断。在较长的句子中,要学会运用语法项目来帮助分析句子成分从而找出正确的答案。通过小组合作学习培养学生合作精神,
10、学生之间的交流更容易使学生理解文章。 3) Teacher asks students to choose a best title for the text.(2分钟) 2 A The Williams experience to succe.B Sports stars C The prizes the Williams have won.(Suggested answer: A) 设计说明: 通过做选择题来降低总结文章的难度。把“苹果”放在学生挑起来就能够到的位置。同时训练学生总结文章的能力。即:文章的标题外延和内涵要相符,吧能太大或太小。 Step 4 Listening (10分钟)
11、 Students listen to the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation then underline the key words and phrases which they dont understand.Then teacher explains.Poible words and phrases: Champion, move up to, bullet, compete against, expre a keen interest in, make fantastic progre, do th
12、e dishes. 设计说明: 通过听录音帮助学生矫正发音并注意意群的停顿,帮助学生更好的理解文章。通过划出不懂的单词和词组为学生理解文章扫清障碍。同时为下面的复述课文做好铺垫。 Step 5 Post reading(8分钟) Teacher asks students to retell the text according to the topic sentences, key words and phrases.Teacher gives students five minutes.Then teacher chooses one or two students to report t
13、o the rest.Poible version: Venus and Serena Williams are both tennis champions who often play each other.Now they each have moved up to eleventh and third. However, the two sisters were born in a poor and dangerous area in that place, it was full of drugs and violence.But they didnt give up practici
14、ng.They have a happy family though their father is very strict with them in training.Today, both sisters are studying at college they said they wanted to work in design after their tennis career a come to an end. The two sisters road to succe is amazing.Venus has won the US Open twice and Serena als
15、o made fantastic progre and won the womens singles champion in 2023 and 2023.Has tennis caused problems between the two sisters?
