1、我用英语讲故事2011 Spoken Story Champion活动方案为了进一步激发我校小学生学习英语的兴趣,强化对学生英语口头表达能力和英语综合运用能力的培养,促进素质教育的全面实施,推动英语教学改革。根据学校学期计划,决定于2011年4月18日4月22日下午4:30举行2011 Spoken Story Champion我用英语讲故事比赛。一、比赛对象 3一6年级学生自愿报名参加。二、比赛地点 初赛:三、四、五、六年级各班教室;复赛:学校电教室三、比赛内容 英语故事主题不限,可自选或创作英语故事。三、四年级参赛故事内容不超过100个单词;五、六年级参赛选手故事内容约130个单词。四、比
2、赛规则:1、每班通过班内比赛选拔表现优秀的学生参加学校复赛。2、要求参赛选手发音清晰,语音基本准确,语音语调较规范,口语流畅;3、仪表大方、自然、声音响亮,声情并茂。五、评奖办法:依据学生评委和英语教师评委的打分,按分数高低、分年级段设置一等奖各5名,二等奖各10名,三等奖若干名。并推荐优秀选手参加区英语故事比赛。六、评分标准:(10分)1、服装整齐,精神面貌2分。2、故事的内容健康,积极向上2分。3、讲故事整体效果6分。(声音洪亮,发音清晰,语音准确,语音语调规范,口语流畅,表情丰富。各占1分)我用英语讲故事2011 Spoken Story Champion活动选手名单三年级:朱雨昕、李卓

4、,在英语组教师的精心组织下,淮河东路小学举行了妙趣横生的英语故事比赛。整个比赛过程中,从三到六年级初赛中脱颖而出的小选手们各显其能,把自己的看家本领都拿了出来。每个参赛选手以规范流畅的口语、活泼大方的表演、声情并茂的演绎博得了评委和同学们的阵阵掌声;特别是选手们抑扬顿挫的语音和应情应景的肢体语言,使学生评委和教师评委们身临其境,陶醉其中。现场不断地掀起一个个小高潮。最后评委们从选材内容、仪容仪表、语音、语调、表演等方面进行了评价,选出了各年级的优秀选手并予以表彰。本次比赛覆盖面广,给同学们提供了一个充分展示自我的机会,锻炼了他们的口语表达能力,涌现出了一大批英语小明星。同时用生动有趣的形式打开
5、了学生的视野,调动了他们学习英语的积极性,让学生在愉悦的情境中,在自信的心态下学习英语,为淮东培养“名学生”工作打下了坚实基础。希望这些同学能顺利走进二七区英语故事大赛的舞台,展现淮东学生的魅力,展现二七学生的风采。The Blind Men and the ElephantOnce upon a time, there were six blind men in a village. Every day they went to a road nearby and stood there talking. One day an elephant was led down the road.
6、The blind men asked the driver to stop the elephant, so that they could have a “look”. The first blind man happened to put his hands on the elephants side. “Well, well.” He said, “this elephant is just like a wall.” The second happened to place his hands on the elephants tusk and felt it. “Oh, oh, t
7、his elephant is just like a spear.” The third happened to grasp the elephants trunk. “Oh, oh, this elephant is just like a snake.” Said he. The fourth happened to grasp the elephants legs. He cried: “Oh, oh, this elephant is just like a tree.” The fifth happened to grasp one of the elephants ears. H
8、e cried: “Oh, oh, this elephant is just like a big fan.” The sixth happened to grasp the elephants tail. “ Oh, oh, this elephant is just like a rope.” He cried. Then the driver and the elephant went away. But the six blind men stood there and quarreled about the elephant all day. On a BusThe bus sto
9、ps at the next stop. A mother and her child get on the bus and sit down. The conductor comes to them for the tickets. The mother says, “One ticket to the Childrens Park.” The conductor looks at the small child, then he says to him, “How old are you, little boy?”The mother wants to speak, but the con
10、ductor stops her. The boy says, “Mother says Im four years old at home and two years on the bus.” All the other people laugh.Donkeys and his shadowA tourist hired some donkeys to go to a distant place. That weather is very hot, so he stopped to have a rest in the shadow of the donkeys, and the owner
11、 wants to avoid the hot, too. But the donkeys shadow is not enough to cover the two persons, then the tourist and the owner of donkeys begin to argue, both of them think they have this right. The donkey owner insisted that he only letting donkey themselves, not the shadow of the donkeys. The tourist
12、 said that he employed the donkeys and shadow. They talked and even fight each other up. When they fight, donkeys ran away.The Fox and the “Sick” LionAll the animals were saying how sick the lion was and how sorry they were for him. Many of them said that the kindest thing they could do would go and
13、 see him. Many did go, but not the fox. Some thought it strange that the fox should be so unkind.The lion himself wondered why the fox did not come and see him and sent a wolf to talk to the fox.“Surely,” said the wolf, “you have heard, Mr. Fox, that the lion is sick. He is the king of Animals and e
14、veryone is going up to his cave and visit him. But you have not been. Why is that?”“I know the lion is the King of Animals,” replied the fox, “and I ought to visit him, but when I go near his cave I see many foot prints going into the cave but none coming out. Then I am too frightened to go in.”The wolf then knew that the fox had found the truth. The lion was pretending to be ill, so many animals would come into his cave only to be captured and eaten. So the wolf knows how clever the fox is!
