41、less 45mph gusts of wind, and the occasional military fighter jet roaring around the Mach Loop overhead, it wouldve been incredibly peaceful! As we were so exposed to the elements, we hung a camera bag off our tripod for added stability.Increase the ISo It may seem counter-intuitive to increase your
42、 ISO when using a tripod for landscape photographs, but on breezy days the camera can still wobble. Even when mounted on a tripod you can still get shakes, resulting in shots can look a little soft when taken at slower shutter speeds. To ensure we got sharp shots, we increased the ISO from 100 to 20
43、0, and at times 400. This enabled us to use faster shutter speeds, which will produce sharp shots without noticeable image noise.Mid-morning mountains Make the most of big peaks landscapesWe often prefer a portrait composition for landscape shots to really focus on specific peaks and foreground elem

45、raphing landscapes, it can be hard to know what to include in your frame when surrounded by big mountains. To emphasize the height of the peaks, try shooting in vertical/portrait format. This will frame your shots to include the sky and mountaintop, with paths, rocks or streams in the foreground for
46、 a balanced composition.devils Kitchen From Llyn Ogwen we headed up a series of sturdy stony steps to get the best views of the surrounding countryside. We spent a couple of hours around this small, scenic area, taking countless images of Mother Natures huge playground. We stopped halfway to shoot t
47、his scene, using the rocky river in our foreground to lead to the distant valley, with the shoulders of mountains and moody skyline to complete the picture.
