1、Unit 1 Grammar and Usage (I):Sentence Elements and Sentence Structures学情分析:本次教学对象为高一新生。预设学生整体基础较好,语言能力属于中等偏上,词汇与表达方面达 到高一新生应有水准,课堂专注程度较高,能够在确切指令下完成相应任务,语言产出能力较好。预 估局部学生在初中已经学过句子成分和结构,但可能未学透彻也未形成体系。本课教学内容为句子成分和句子结构。学生对于定状补可能不太熟悉,需要在教学过程中着重强 调。教学过程中应关注学生的课堂反响,对其不太熟悉、存有疑虑的地方进行重点讲解。本课需帮助 学生形成英语句子的整体观,为学

2、生日后建立英语语法体系打下良好基础。教学目标:本节课课型为:语法课.语言能力层面:重点培养学生分析长难句成分的能力;1 .思维品质层面:培养学生面对英语句子能够抓出句子主干的逻辑性;.文化意识层面:帮助学生更深层次地了解中文与英语之间的不同;2 .学习能力层面:培养内化知识的能力,并帮助学生形成语法体系。教学重难点:1 . 了解句子成分,重点为定语、状语和补语;.理解并能分辨长难句的句子结构,能应用不同句型写句子。Teaching procedures:Step 1 Revision: Point out the sentence elements of the underlined part

3、(s) of the following sentences.1. He doesnt have anything to do at the moment. Attributive(定语)Listening to music makes me relaxed.Complement(补语)2. Clearly, talking to him is a mistake.Adverbial(状语)We should develop good study habits. Object(宾语)1.1 felt happy because I was praised by the teacher. Pre

The subject I like best is English.Subject(主语)Step 2 Go through the Grammar notes on Page 96-97 and give explanations if necessary.Students should know the terms: subject(主语),verb(谓语),object(宾语),complement(补语),adver- bial(状语),predicative(表语)and

5、attributive(定语).Step 3 Read the short passage on page 6 and exploring the rules.1. Have students read the short passage on page 6 and answer the following questions.(1) Whafs the main idea of the short passage?Possible answerThe significance of setting goals.(2) Why should we set a goal?Possible ans
