Then the building complex on the square was shaped and the layout of the Red Square was established.The Red Square is world-famous, as the most important public events take place there. 4、ussian Revolution is celebrated there on Nov. 7th, and Labor Day on May 1st and 2nd. Colorful parades, such as the one honoring the Soviet astronauts, are also held in the square.The Red Square was not named by communists, although red is their symbolic color. The name is an old one. In Russian the

5、word for red is also used to mean beautiful. So the square was known as Beautiful Square.
