1、初三英语总复习学案 （16）状语从句【考点聚焦】1、各类状语从句的结构及用法；2、各种状语从句中连词的用法 ；3、状语从句中的时态问题；4、常考的典型状语从句。【知识要点讲解】1引导时间状语从句的连词 主要有when，while，a，by the time，before，after，since，tilluntil，as soon as 等。其中when，while和as都可表示“当时候”，但用法有区别： (1)when意为“在时；当时”，可表示点时间或段时间，从句谓语可以是终止性动词，也可以是延续性动词。如： When l got home，he was having supper (2)as
2、意为“边边”或“与同时”，重在表示两个动作同时发生，伴随进行。as从句是终止性动词时，主句通常也用终止性动词。如： They sang as they danced (3)while只可表示段时间，从句谓语只限于延续性动词。如： While l was sleeping，my father came in.注：从句谓语是持续性动词时，when、while和as可以互换；主、从句谓语都是终止性动词时，when与ss可互换，从句谓语表示状态时，通常用while。 (4)until，till意为“直到”，引导时间状语从句。当主句谓藉动词是延续性动词时，主句常用肯定形式；当主句谓语动词是非延续性动词时
3、，主句要用否定形式，即not.untiltill意为“直到才”。如： I ll wait here untiltill he comes back You can t go home untiltill you finish your work2. 引导原因状语从句的连词 原因状语从句一般由because，since，as，for引导。注意as，because，since和for的区别： (1)如果原因是构成句子的最主要部分，一般用becam。because引导的从句一般不放在句子的开头。如： I missed the train because l got up late。注意：对于以why
4、开头的问句，一般只能用because引导的从句来回答。 (2)如果原因已为人们所知，或不如句子的其余部分重要，就用s8或since，since比as稍微正式一些。as和since引导的从句一般放在句子的开头。如： As he was not well，I decided to go there without him Since this method doesn t work，let s try another (3)for表示所说的理由是一种补充说明，因此，for引导的从句可以放在括号里，而且fN引导的从句一般不放在句子开头。如： I decided to stop and have lu
5、nch，for l was feeling quite hungry。3“祈使句+andor+简单句”可以用来替代条件状语从句。其中and表示顺承，or则表示转折。如：If you work harder，youll pass the exam. =Work hagder，and you ll pass the exam4引导结果状语从句的连词 主要有：so / such .that., so that 等。 (1)so. that结构在某种情况下可以与enough to和too. to结构相互转换。如： She is so short that she can t reach the but
6、tons of the lift. = She is too short toreach the buttons of the lift. (2)so that也可以引导结果状语从句，意为“结果是，以至于”。如： They missed the bus so that they were late for class注意：so that也可引导目的状语从句，此时可用to 或 in order to替换，将其改为简单句。如：He got up early so that he could get to school on time=He got up early to get to school
7、 on time. =In order to get to school on time，he got up early特别提示 时间和条件状语从句必须遵循时态呼应规律。如果主句是一般将来时态，从句不用将来时态，而要用一般现在时。如：I won t go there with you if it rains tomorrow 从句可以位于主句之前，也可以位于主句之后。不过从句在前时，主从句之间往往用逗号隔开。如：Please tell me when he comes back=When he comes back，please tell me。【针对性练习】( ) 1.
