1、仁爱版七年级英语上册 Unit 2 Topic 1 Section AGood afternoon, everyone. Im glad to have the opportunity to show my teaching ideas here. My topic is Unit 2 Topic 1 “I have a small nose.” and I am ready to say Section A from six parts.Part One Analysis of Teaching Material 一. Status and Function Section A is the

2、 first period of Topic 1. The main activities are 1a and 3a. In this Section, We will learn some words about physical characteristics, such as nose, eye, ear, hair, head and so on and some adjectives to describe humans physical characteristics. We will also learn how to use “have/has” to make senten

3、ces.二. Teaching aims According to the New English Curriculum Criterion, teaching material and my students, my teaching aims contain the following.1. Knowledge aims (1) To enable the students master the new words: nose, eye, big, small and so on. (2) To enable the students use “have/has” to make sent

4、ences. “I/ We/ They have She/ He /It has (3) To enable the students use auxiliary verb “do/does” to ask humans physical characteristic. “Do you/they have? Does he/ she has?”2. Ability aims(1) Mainly train the students abilities of listening, reading and speaking.(2) To develop the students abilities

5、 of communication3. Emotional aims (1) To arouse the students interest in class activities.(2) To train their team spirit by working in groups. 三. Key points and difficult points1. Key points (1) To help the students to master the new words.(2) To enable the students to use “have/has” correctly(3) T

6、o enable the students to use adjectives to describe humans physical characteristics. 2. Difficult points (1) Use “have/has” correctly.(2) The application of auxiliary verb “do/does”. Part Two Analysis of StudentsThe students of my two classes are not very active. Some of them are very shy. Even thou

7、gh they can express their own ideas with simple oral English, they are afraid of taking part in class activities. So I will try my best to provide a relaxing English learning surrounding for the students and Encourage the students to take active part in class activities. Part Three Teaching Methods

8、and Aids 一. Teaching Methods In this lesson, Ill mainly use three kinds of teaching methods: communicative teaching method, task-based teaching method and total physical response teaching method. Be sure to make the students the real masters in class and the teacher myself as the director. 二. Teachi

9、ng AidsIn this lesson, Ill use a Multi-media computer, tape, school things and so on. I think its necessary for teachers to use modern teaching facilities. Its of great help to improve our teaching result. It can also make the students reach a better understanding of the text by making the classes l

10、ively and interesting. At the same time, it arouses the students interests in learning English. Part Four Learning strategiesTeach students how to be successful language learners.Let the students study language from Imitation to Practice.Teach students how to describe humans physical characteristics

11、 and how to communicate with others.Part Five Teaching Procedure Step 1 Warm-up and revision 1. Greeting. The teacher greets with students “Hello! Good morning. Nice to meet you.” 2. Revision. The teacher points out a book and ask the students “Whats this in English?” Show two pens and ask “What are

12、 these?” Review the sentence patterns we have learnt in Unit 1. 3. Lead to new words by reviewing the two sentence patterns. The teacher points at his/her nose and ask “Whats this in English? Its a nose.” Teach the new words several times and let students follow. Use the same way to teach other new

13、words. Purpose of my designing: On the one hand, we can review the knowledge we have learnt. On the other hand, we can learn new knowledge on the basis of reviewing old knowledge. I think its easy for students to understand. Step 2 Presentation 1. Point at the nose and say, “nose, a nose, a big nose

14、, I have a big nose.” The teacher will explain the “big” means “大的” , “have” means “有”. Use the same way to practice the sentence patterns “I/We/You/They have” “He/She/It has” and learn some adjectives to describe physical characteristics. 2. Let students look at the sentence patterns we have made a

15、nd sum up the usage of “have/has”. 3. Ask and answer between the teacher and students. For example: T: Do you have a big nose? Ss: Yes, I do. / No, I dont. T: Does she has a round face? Ss: Yes, she does. / No, she doesnt.4. Let students pay attention to the sentence patterns and the teacher explain

16、 it.Purpose of my designing: Its a good way to let students learn new knowledge from words to phrases to sentences. Students will learn new knowledge from easy to difficult. Step 3 Consolidation 1. Play a game: When the teacher points at the part, the students say the English word quickly. If possib

17、le, a competition can be held here. 2. Let the students look at 1c, match the new words with the picture and then make sentences with “have/has”. 3. Let the students look at 1b first, then play the tape and let the students listen to the tape carefully. 4. Let the students check the answers in 1b by

18、 themselves, then choose one student to check the answer. 5. Play the tape again and let the students follow it. Then ask some students to act out the dialog. Purpose of my designing: I want to make sure if my students master the new words and sentence patterns. Its good for students to consolidate

19、new knowledge by game, competition and group word. These ways can arouse the students interest in learning English. Step 4 Practice 1. Let the students look at the picture of 2a carefully, then play the tape and try to complete the sentences by themselves. Then choose some students to check the answ

20、ers. 2. Let the students look at 2b and finish it by themselves. Choose some students to fill in the blanks orally, then check the answers one by one. 3. Groups work: Give students two minutes to describe the students in groups. Choose one student to describe his/her group mates and let other groups

21、 guess “Who is she/he?” Purpose of my designing: An interesting task can make everyone speak English in class. The students have a free platform to communicate with others. It can improve the students spoken ability and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained. Step 5 Homework 1. Draw

22、 a picture of yourselves, then write a short passage about yourselves. 2. Review the words and sentence patterns we have learnt. Purpose of my designing: In class, we have done so much practice in listening, speaking and reading. But we did few practice in writing. Its necessary for the students to

23、do some practice in writing after class to consolidate the new knowledge.Part Six Blackboard Designing In the lesson, Ill use a multi-media computer, the screen will be in the middle of the blackboard. So on the blackboard, I only show t some new words and sentence pattern.
