1、Lesson 21: How Can We Go to Beijing?一、教材分析对于交通工具学生并不陌生,所以对于交通工具的速度也一定很熟悉,因此对于“fast, slow”一定比较熟悉,再由此引出形容词比较级的概念。二、学情分析学生在学习了car ,bus ,train ,bicycle 等交通工具后可以很容易的将这些引入课文中的句型里面。二、教学目标:(一)知识:1. 巩固下列单词:bicycle, cab, car, truck, bus2. 掌握四会单词:airplane / plane, train, fast, slow, faster, slower3. 巩固形容词比较级句型
2、:An plane is faster than a bus.(二)能力:学生能够通过观察事物运动的快与慢来比较哪一个更快,哪一个更慢,并用英语来描绘某物比某物更快或更慢。(三)情感:培养学生用英语表达思想的能力和习惯。二、教学重点:四会单词:airplane / plane, train, fast, slow, faster, slower。教学难点:运用比较级描述事物。三、教学媒体:多媒体课件、跳绳、录音机四、教学过程1、Class Opening and Review(1) Greeting.Good morning, everyone! 11、句型How can you go to Beijing(城市名)?已经有了一定的英语基础,在教学时借助学过的词汇与句型及多媒体课件、实物模型、简笔画等教学本节课内容,以讨论贯穿本课教学,运用听、说、读、游、唱、画等教学手段,从学生的实际出发,考虑个别差异,由浅入深,由易到难,达到教学目标,要关注每位学生的成长和进步。教学内容分析:本节课是一节有关比较级和交通工具的拓展课,这两项内容在前面的学习中学生都已经接触过,这节课主要是在内容上的丰厚和深化。特别是李明和妈妈决定坐火车去北京这一话题为下册书学习在火车上的见闻做了一个铺垫。这一单元所讨论的话题是旅游,这是学生们都比较喜欢的一个内容。对于交通工
12、具的讨论也能引起他们的兴趣,他们乐于学习和接受。我将从学生感兴趣的地方入手,让他们积极参与到学习实践中来,使他们通过学习能获得学习英语的成就感和喜悦感。本节课的教学内容是从生活经验中选取的,学生们感到亲切、自然,充满人情味,从而感兴趣。本节课是以交通工具为线索,讲授单词airplane(plane)、train、fast、faster、slow、slower,还有乘坐交通工具的词组,以及语法比较级,句型 _ faster(slower) than _. How can you go to Beijing(城市名)?一、教学目标: 知识目标:1、掌握单词airplane、train2、掌握两组比
13、较级fast、faster、slow、slower能力目标:能够在句子中正确运用fast、faster、slow、slower情感目标:培养学生小组合作意识。二、教学重难点单词的掌握及两组比较级在句子中的正确运用三、教具学具教具:图片、录音机、学具:交通方式词汇卡四、教学过程一)、复习:做“Spell”游戏复习以前学过的表示交通方式的词汇,要求学生找出这些词的词汇卡片,并画出与单词相配的图画。二)、新授1、在复习时所用的词汇卡片中放入新卡片airplane、train,在学生度这些卡片的过程中教授新词,并让学生画出相配的图画。2、出示一张龟兔赛跑的图画,以讲故事的方式出示fast、 faste
14、r 、slow、 slower这两组比较级。在黑板上写出基本句型:is fast.Is slow.is faster than .is slower than .3、分小组练习,学生将复习时所用的交通方式词汇填入以上句型中进行造句练习。4、比赛:将全班分成两组,每组出一名学生,让他任意出示两种交通工具的图片,并叫起对方任一名学生造句。对者得一分,错的不得分,两组累计分数高者为胜。(不能重复叫一名学生。)5、T: An airplane is fast. 16、r cab truck bus train planeis fast.Is slow.is faster than .is slower than .课后反思:冀教版这套新教材给我们带来了新思想,也给我们带来了新要求。为了充分发挥学生在课堂上的主体作用,我认为教学首先应面向全体学生,注重素质教育;其次是应采用以学生为中心的教学思路,要设计以学生为中心的教学活动,但同时也应尊重个体差异;再次是要充分利用多媒体课件、图片、实物模型等,为学生创设听说英语的环境,运用灵活多样的教法,丰富课堂教学,活跃课堂气氛;第四点就是在课堂上尽量创设生活化的语言环境,提供生活化的语言材料,让学生感到他们学的就是生活

Class Closing Homework:让学生去调查身边的人或事物,写一写_ is faster /slower than _.教学反思:本节课是一节关于比较级的语法渗透教学课例。纵观整节课,笔者遵循了隐性语法教学原则,学生较好地掌握了所学单词和句型,并能积极主动地加以运用,达到了预期的教学目标。外语教学要为学生创造良好的英语学习氛围,创设与主题一致的、真实的英语教学情景,让学生充分感知语言材料,以确保学生能够在生活中学以致用。根据小学生的年龄特点和认知特点,笔者在教学时注重联系学生的生活实际,创设真实语言情景,营造宽松、民主、和谐的学习氛围。通过对比交通工具的
29、图片引出比较级句型_ is faster than _. _ is slower than _. 并充分利用了儿童节即将到来这一真实情景,为学生提供了学习英语和用英语交流的语言环境,激发了他们的参与欲望,学生从中也体验到了英语学习的趣味性和学习成功的喜悦。当然,本节课还存在一些需要改进的地方。整节课的学习活动中应更多地关注学生之间的差异。在操练句型_ is faster than _. _ is slower than _.时,应给学生更多的时间,可以让学生在小组内先说一说,让学困生有开口说的机会。在最后的创编对话环节,也应该设置不同层次的任务,对于学困生,可以降低学习任务的难度,让他们有感情
30、地朗读课文,力争让每位学生都能在学习过程中有所收获。教学评析: 众所周知,语法的教学是枯燥而乏味的,而崔老师给我们提供了一个很好的课例。教师在进行比较级教学时,共分成了四个阶段:1、 引入与呈现阶段上课一开始,通过师生间的谈话自然引出有关交通工具的单词,为下面比较级的教学做好了铺垫。接下来,教师用课件出示飞机和火车图片,激活了学生的生活体验,有效的唤起了学生的表达欲望。2、 操练与模仿阶段教师设计了两项关于比较级的语法操练:第一项属于机械操练,出示飞机、火车等图片,鼓励学生完成比较级句型。这样的操练既激发了学生们的参与热情又降低了学生运用比较级的难度。第二项是意义操练,屏幕出示不同的交通工具、动物等,学生对比并运用比较级句型说句子。在机械操练的基础上,进一步加大难度,将语言与生活相联系,培养了学生的综合语言运用能力。3、 归纳与总结阶段:小学阶段开展语法教学,首先要帮助学生在感性认识的基础上通过大量的实践活动上升到理性认识, 然后在理性认识的正确指导之下再进行语言实践。本节课中教师引导学生在观察大量语言材料和进行充分语言实践的基础上,自己去发现比较级的句型结构。4、交际与运用阶段学语法最关键的是实践。在最后一个环节,教师创设儿童节来临的语言情境,让学生根据所学词汇和句型进行创编对话,这样的教学给学生提供了较真实的情景,让他们去感悟所学语法,去真实的运用语言。
