1、高中英语中需要双写的动词在江门市举行的一模考试中，一些学生，甚至高水平的学生竟然把prefer的过去分词写成prefered,白白丢掉了1.5分，让我百思不得其解，因为我上课会经常提到这个单词，可能是因为没给他们做一个全面的总结，导致他们在考试中犯了错误。在英语学习过程中，动词的双写一直困扰着国内的英语学习者，有的同学在该双写时，没有双写直接导致会导致语法填空失去1.5分，写作出现错误单词，实属可惜。在不该双写时却双写了，同样会影响答题质量和写作档次。必须同时满足以下 4 个条件：1) 该动词的发音以重读闭音节结尾；重读闭音节就是指在一个音节中，元音字母不是发它本身的字母音，以辅音字母结尾，而
2、且是重读音节的音节。比如apple划音节就应该是ap/ple前面那个ap是一个音节以辅音字母结尾就是闭音节。2）结尾闭音节符合“1 个辅音字母 + 1 个元音字母 + 1 个辅音字母”3）结尾的辅音字母不是x；4）该动词的拼写规则没有例外；一般来说，单词以下辅音字母l、b、d、m、n、p、r、t结尾，且重读其前的元音，元音字母前为辅音字母，需要双写词尾的辅音字母，再加-ing。如map, ，以p结尾，且重读map中的，其前为m，构成重读闭音节，故双写词尾的p，从而构成mapping。如opening读作【png】，因为重音在o，而不是open中的e，故不双写词尾n。这里的例外情况有:1）aw,
3、 ew, ow（如单词draw, chew, snow）；2）类似的是ay, ey, oy, uy（如单词say,obey,buy）3）字母x结尾时，通常读作ks，所以mix，fix, box也不双写词尾-ing。这里所写内容，均以课程标准（3000词）为范围。4) 4个-l 结尾的单词control, quarrel, travel, equal也都可以不双写词尾，直接添加-ing即可。在变过去分词和现在分词时，需要双写的动词：以b结尾的动词（共2个）: club,grab以d结尾的动词（共2个）: nod,kid以g为结尾的动词（共5个）: drag, hug, jog, plugdig（
4、过去时和过去分词为dug)以m结尾的动词（共2个）: jam,swim以n结尾的动词（共8个）: ban, can, fan, plan, thinbegin(过去时为began,过去分词为begun)run(过去时为ran,过去分词为run)win(过去时为won,过去分词为won)以p结尾的动词（共18个）：cap, clap, crop, cup, equip,trap, map,wrap,ship, skip, slip, step, tip, trip,drop, shop, stop, top以r结尾的动词（共5个）：infer, occur, prefer, refer, sta
